Netgear WNDR4300 + laptop z kartą  Broadcom BCM43228 802.11a/b/g/n 2.4/5G

Do wersji 19.07 włącznie działało to ok ale od 2x.xx laptop ma duże problemy żeby się połączyć. Przy sieci 5G to już w ogóle robi się ciekawie bo tu potrafi się nawet zawiesić radio w routerze.

Słyszałem o problemach przy starszym sprzęcie i ustawieniu szyfrowania WPA2/WPA3 Mixed ale przestawienie na samo WPA2 nic nie zmieniło.

Cały czas korzystam więc z wersji 19.07 a 2x.xx (w tej chwili najnowsze 22.03 stąd) wrzucam co jakiś czas testowo ale nic tu się nie zmienia.

Tu przykład, po ręcznym rozłączeniu ponowne połączenie następuje dopiero po 3 minutach:

W RC4 coś jest skopane z mostem, też mam połączenie 2xWNDR4300 - AP WDS z Client WDS i komputer podłączony kablem do clienta nie dostaje adresu z DHCP AP.

Wgrałem RC3 i znowu most śmiga.

Ja mam most 5GHz między dwoma WNDR4300@OpenWRT 21.02 i w porywach leci prawie 240Mbit/s także to jest kres jego możliwości. Najczęściej oscyluje to w granicach 180-200Mbit.

5GHz w tym modelu to taka uroda, choć nie przypomina sobie, żeby mi to radio nie wstało a mam 2 szt. w użyciu.

Ja zrobiłem sysupgrade z ostatniego 19.07 od Cezarego, w LuCI to taki komunikat otrzymałem, zaznaczyłem checkboxy jak na screenie i zatwierdziłem.

Na Netgear WNDR4300 wgranie sysupgrade -F -n skończyło się mrugającą na zielono diodą power, tak jakby router przeszedł w tryb oczekiwania na firmware przez TFTP. Zresetowałem go i ręcznie go w ten tryb wprowadziłem, dla pewności wrzuciłem mu oryginał i jak wstał to dostał obraz factory i działa.

Prawie rok temu kupiłem do Lenovo z 2013 roku oryginał na aliexpress z tego sklepu: https://pl.aliexpress.com/store/1870289
Zapłaciłem 120 zł, przesyłka nadana z Chin trasą przez Holandię (PostNL), szła 3 tygodnie, żadnych dodatkowych opłat nie poniosłem. Nie mam zastrzeżeń, działa jak trzeba do dziś.

Wcześniej  kupiłem zamiennik RDY z alledrogo, który witał komunikatami o nieoryginalnej baterii i jeszcze okazał się wadliwy - padł tego samego dnia. Potem kupiłem oryginał, też z allegro, ale okazał się niekompatybilny z tym modelem laptopa. W obu przypadkach zwróciłem i oddali pieniądze.

A ja mam takie 2 wink. Przed chwilą zrobiłem na drugim sysupgrade z  zachowaniem ustawień i po restarcie wszystko działa.  Po zrobieniu restartu z menu dhcp nie działało, kilka dni temu nie miałem przez chwilę prądu i po tym też nie załapało.

Chyba jednak nie do końca działa bo drukarka nie dostawała adresu. Po restarcie interfejsu zaskoczyło neutral

Niedziałające DHCP. WNDR4300, podpięty tylko komputer po kablu.

Zrobiłem sysupgrade do najnowszej wersji by Cezary z LuCI bez zachowywania ustawień. Router się zresetował, przemielił co musiał i dostałem adres prywatny 169.254.*.*. Zmieniłem na karcie sieciowej adres na 192.168.1.10 i zalogowałem na router. W LuCI zrestartowałem interfejs LAN, DHCP zaskoczyło i po przestawieniu karty na DHCP przydzieliło adres 192.168.1.239. Potwierdzam ten problem z dhcp, na WNDR4300 przywróciłem ustawienia fabryczne kilka dni temu i trzeba było ręcznie ustawiać adres na komputerze żeby się dostać na router. Prawdopodobnie pomaga restart samego interfejsu lan.

Mam 2 szt. tych Netgearów od wtorku i jestem bardzo zadowolony. Wgrane 18.06 z LuCi od Cezarego (ale wcześniej wrzuciłem najnowszy oryginał), 5GHz bez problemów, zrobiłem między nimi most bezprzewodowy na tej częstotliwości - transfer w porywach 220 Mbit/s. Zasilacze Enertronix EXA0606EB 12V 2A.

W tej chwili mam 2x TL-WR841Nv7 (jeden jako AP (WDS), drugi jako Client (WDS) po wifi, oba na jakiejś świeżej kompilacji 18.06 z LuCi specjalnie pod ten model). Mieszkam w kamienicy, sieci od cholery i 2.4GHz kuleje coraz bardziej. Od jakiegoś czasu szukam taniej alternatywy na 5GHz najlepiej z gigabitem i wsparciem dla OpenWRT. Teraz zauważyłem na alledrogo, że ktoś sprzedaje sporą ilość używek NETGEAR WNDR4300  i myślę czy warto, bo sprzęt też już dość wiekowy... Nie będzie problemu z mostem na 5GHz z OpenWRT?

Próbowałeś sprawdzić jak to będzie funkcjonować na oryginalnym sofcie? Jam mam 2 szt. 841N i po różnych testach zostawiłem na AP Gargoyle (tryb AP+WDS) a na moście mam oryginalny soft w trybie WDS. Mi chodziło akurat o prędkość po kablu, kiedy na moście miałem Gargoyle to bez różnicy czy po kablu czy wifi miałem ~25Mbit. Jak wrzuciłem na niego oryginalny soft to wifi pozostało bez większych zmian ale za to po kablu jest w porywach ponad 60 Mbit.

Podłączę się. Czy taka jest realna prędkość jest w trybie mostu/przekaźnika? Dziś zawitał do mnie dla testu identyczny, jak już przeze mnie posiadany, WR841N v7.2. Na obu Gargoyle 1.6.0.1. I po konfiguracji jest ściana na prędkości 20Mbit (+/- 2Mbit), czasami wolniej. Bez różnicy, czy podepnę się do przekaźnika po kablu czy wifi. Jakość sygnału pomiędzy nimi jest dobra, AP pokazuje w tej chwili takie dane:
Przepływność    Jakość sygnału
240.0 Mbit/s    -57 dBm

Przy samym AP miewam w porywach 40-50Mbit ale jakość sygnału niższa (-70/75 dBm, dość często przy chwilowym dużym obciążeniu potrafi się połączenie "zerwać").

Może jakbyś na kilka dni wyłączył modem to by się zmieniło IP. Z moich obserwacji wynika że UPC zmienia IP co kilka miesięcy.

Jak ma się zwykły modem, to zmianę IP można wymusić zmieniając adres MAC na porcie WAN swojego routera. Po tej operacji trzeba jeszcze wyłączyć na chwilę modem.

W przypadku modemo-routerów (EPC3925, TC7200) nie ma możliwości wymuszenia zmiany IP.
