hd-idle nie chce mi przyjąć takiego zapisu w konfigu:

config hd-idle
        option enable_debug '0'
        option idle_time_unit 'minutes'

        option enabled '1'

Samo wyłuskanie nazwy dysku działa dobrze

#blkid | grep 1DE7 | cut -b 6-8
sdc

ale próba uruchomienia kończy się tak:

#/etc/init.d/hd-idle restart
/usr/bin/hd-idle: invalid option -- b
error: unknown option -b

Odświeżę trochę temat, bo też mnie wkurzały te zapchane logi.
Od paru dni używam Gargoyle by Obsy i zauważyłem podobne byki w logach jak w pierwszym poście. Wcześniej korzystałem z własnej starej kompilacji OpenWRT na x86 z jakąś archaiczną wersją transmission i takich kwiatków nie miałem.
Żeby się tego pozbyć wystarczy w konfigu transmission przestawić opcję message_level na 0. Oczywiście pewnie pozbawi nas to też informacji w logach w przypadku wystąpienia innych błędów związanych z transmission, więc w razie potrzeby trzeba sobie to z powrotem włączyć.

Dorwałem na testy router LTE Huawei B593s-22 oraz kupiłem sobie mocniejszy router pod OpenWRT - WD MyNet N600, na którego wgrałem Gargoyle Cezarego. Na routerze Huaweia pingi są ok. 20 ms, a WD współpracujący z modemem E3276 zachowuje się identycznie jak WR1043ND, czyli pingi nie schodzą poniżej 35 ms.

@jarek7714 - mamy więc wspólny punkt odniesienia, tzn. B593s-22.  U Ciebie między nim a OpenWRT z modemem QMI nie ma znacznej różnicy, u mnie między nim a OpenWRT z modemem NCM różnica jest. Podejrzewam więc, że przyczyna leży właśnie w tym sterowniku modemu...
Jutro spróbuję jeszcze przełączyć modem w tryb RAS i zobaczę czy to coś da.

Zrobiłem jeszcze RAM-mod (akurat trafił mi się odpowiedni moduł z laptopa) i teraz prędkość jest taka (domyślne usługi włączone, także wifi, dodatkowo n2n):

Nie ma już błędów w logach, a podczas transferu procesor ma ok 65% idle i router już nie "zamula".
Nadal jednak ping jest 2x większy (35-40 ms, także przy pingowaniu z poziomu routera przez ssh) niż przy modemie podłączonym do komputera (16-20 ms).
Na innych routerach pod OpenWRT też tak jest, czy to przypadłość tylko tego modelu (lub mojego egzemplarza)?

Dziękuję Panowie, rozglądam się w takim razie za mocniejszym routerem smile

Dodam jeszcze, że kombinowałem z wyłączaniem wszystkich niepotrzebnych usług (z htttpd gargoyle włącznie) aby zwolnić jak najwięcej pamięci, ale pozytywny skutek przynosi tylko wyłączenie wifi i korzystanie przez kabel eth. Wtedy router nie dostaje zadyszki i bez problemu wyciąga te 20 Mb/s, które mam po podłączeniu modemu bezpośrednio do komputera. Niestety ping ciągle pozostaje w okolicy 40ms...

Przeniosłem się w miejsce, gdzie mam -67dBm w technologii DC-HSPA+, no i tu łącze podczas transferu "rwie się" jeszcze bardziej - przejdzie paczka danych, kilka sekund zwiechy, kolejna paczka i znowu kilka sekund zwiechy itd. Zajrzałem do logów, a tam pełno takich warnów:

Moc obliczeniowa routera może też mieć wpływ na ping, gdy lecą tylko pojedyncze pakiety? W top nie widać jakiegoś znacznego obciążenia procesora podczas połączenia, także podczas max. transferu.
Zauważyłem jeszcze jedną rzecz. Gdy pobieram coś z Internetu przez router to transfer co jakiś czas zanika na 2-3 sekundy, a dokładniej "zamraża się" cały router, tzn. staje ssh i wykresy na www się przez tą chwilę nie odświeżają.

Witam,
Proszę o pomoc - nie wiem czemu parametry połączenia przez router mam 2x gorsze niż bezpośrednio na kompie:
1. TL-WR1043ND v1 + dzisiejszy gargoyle (z wcześniejszymi wydaniami nie testowałem) + hub aktywny + tytułowy e3276: ping ~40 ms, DL ~10 Mb/s
2. modem podpięty bezpośrednio do komputera: ping 16-20ms, DL ~20 Mb/s
W obu przypadkach siła sygnału -83dBm, LTE Orange, NDIS.

Niestety nic to nie daje, zwiększenie parametru lcp-echo-interval ponad 1 powoduje taki komunikat (końcówka logu):

Natomiast zwiększanie lcp-echo-failure do np. 15 powoduje analogiczną odpowiedź w linii

Połączenie jest tak samo krótkie, tylko router chyba po prostu dłużej sprawdza jego istnienie, bo komunikat w logu pojawia się później.

Nie napisałem tego wcześniej, ale modem zawsze łączy się tylko raz i więcej nie ponawia próby. Trzeba zrestartować router aby znowu się połączył.

Problem jest następujący: po włączeniu zestawu Tp-link MR 3220 oraz modem ZTE (karta aero2, port ttyUSB3) modem łączy się na kilka sekund (przechodzą dosłownie 3 pingi) i połączenie zamiera, dioda na modemie zaczyna migać. Modem bezpośrednio w komputerze działa poprawnie, inny modem (Huawei e169) działa poprawnie w tym routerze. Czy jest szansa, aby duet z tematu działał prawidłowo?

Cezary, nie będę zakładał nowego tematu, chciałbym tylko zaproponować do rozważenia 2 kosmetyczne zmiany w projekcie 3ginfo, chodzi mi o frontend w html-u:

1. Zlikwidowanie tego obracającego się "czegoś" przy odświeżaniu strony, niech po prostu odświeży się z opóźnieniem. Wydaje mi się, że wzrokowo będzie łatwiej wyłapać różnica w danych wyświetlanych na stronie, gdy nie będzie tego przerywnika w wyświetlaniu;

2.  Dodanie opcji (np. chceckboxa) do automatycznego przeładowywania strony, np. co 10s - to by ułatwiło np. manewry z anteną, nie trzeba by było latać między kompem a anteną po każdej korekcie jej ustawienia.

W LuCI jest możliwe, widać co jest zainstalowane oraz wszystkie pakiety dostępne w repo. Co więcej niektóre popularne pakiety mają gotowy interfejs dostępny z poziomu LuCI jako dodatkowa zakładka (np. luci-app-transmission), więc nawet do ich konfiguracji nie trzeba używać konsoli.
