Temat: NDIS/QMI w Gargoyle (GUI)

UWAGA: Podane informacje dotyczą wydania 1.6.x. W nowszych wydaniach modemy obsługiwane są po prostu jako kolejna opcja na liście "wan".

Dlaczego w tym trybie a nie zwykłym? Ponieważ dzięki nim można osiągnąć większe prędkości połączenia niż przy połączeniu przez ppp, co ma znaczenie przy połączeniu np. LTE.

UWAGA: Dla większości routerów niezbędne jest posiadanie dobrego huba USB z własnym zasilaniem. Zwykle modemy potrzebują więcej energii niż jest w stanie dostarczyć złącze USB w routerze. Modem będzie działać bezpośrednio w routerze, ale jak będzie zrywał połączenie, router będzie się resetował itd - potrzebny jest hub z własnym zasilaniem.
UWAGA: Bez wykupienia odpowiedniej opcji dostępnej w niektórych tylko ofertach abonamentowych nie jest możliwy dostęp z sieci komórkowej do naszego routera i usług na nim uruchomionych.

Dla niektórych modemów wymagana jest zmiana mac adresu (pokazana powyżej), prawdopodobnie zależy to od wersji firmware, więc należy sprawdzić czy wymagane jest jego ustawienie.

Ta funkcjonalność została włączona do obrazów od wersji 1.5.11.2. Należy zwrócić uwagę na interfejs wan - nie może tam być "Domyślny" (to jest port WAN routera) tylko specyficzny dla modemu - wwan0, usb0 czy podobny.

Nic już nie trzeba ustawiać z konsoli, można ustawić to wszystko w gui. Testowane na Huawei E372 i E173, powinno działać także z E3276. NDIS nie działa z E3131, on wymaga innego sterownika. Funkcjonalnie robi to AT^NDISUP (ndis), więc o ile modem to obsługuje to powinno działać. QMI woła uqmi (jest już w obrazie dla routerów z 8MB flash).
Należy pamiętać o wybraniu wwan0 (lub podobnego) jako interfejsu (nie może być "Domyślny" bo to określa port WAN routera).

Podobnie jak to było ze skryptami
- czasami (na Orange) otrzymuje adres 10.* i nie chce działać
- przy niektórych wersjach firmware modemu trzeba zmienić mac adres (patrz screenshot)
- potrafi się nie uruchomić przy starcie i trzeba jawnie ifup wan robić (lub ustawić monitor połączenia)

Koniecznie jest także uruchomienie monitora połączenia i wybranie akcji jako restart interfejsu wan.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

Witam. Próbowałem ale recznie z konsoli musiałem przestawić option enabled 0 na 1, bez tego modem/e3276/ nie chciał się łączyć na wdr3600. Pomysł ok, dziękuję.

Jak przestawiłeś to włączyłeś stare skrypty. Przestaw znów na 0 i zrób ifup wan. Zobacz później co się dzieje w logach.

Super! Na pewno bardzo ułatwi to nawiązywanie połączenia w NDIS.
Mam takie pytanie (z racji tego, że nie mogę przetestować na swoim routerze), czy ifup wan również rozłączy połączenie z internetem (komenda "AT^NDISDUP=1,0")? Chodzi o to, by uniknąć zawieszenia modemu i ewentualnie móc zrestartować połączenie komendą ifup wan.
