Temat: OpenWRT losowo się nie uruchamia (brak komunikacji)

Cześć,

Przekompilowałem sobie jądro i system, wymieniłem flash na większy (64MB) i zauważyłem, że co kilkanaście uruchomień urządzenia nie mam z nim komunikacji po LAN oraz VPN. Proszę o pomoc w analizie i rozwiązania tego problemu. Oto dziennik, kiedy udało mi się uchwycić, kiedy urządzenie się nie "uruchamia". Log zgrałem przez UART.

Zastanawiam się, czy samemu nie skopałem sprawy.

Przy wymianie kości zrobiłem tak:
1. zgrałem flash 16MB do pliku SOP-8
2. nagrałem z pliku na kość 64MB SOP-16
3. Flash się nie zwiększył, więc nagrałem wersje sysupgrade "64mb"
4. Potem własny firmware

Podłączyłem drugą taką samą płytę, z tym samym firmware i okazuje się, że tam działa wszystko dobrze. Płyta nie jest w obudowie, nie ma dołączonego huba usb, przetwornicy step-down, ma inne karty WiFi. Podłączyłem oba routery pod taki dogniazdkowy włącznik/wyłącznik i strzelam zasilaniem - cyklicznie włączam na 2 minuty, wyłączam na 1 minute, skryptem z komputera loguje czy działa czy nie działa. W ten sposób zamieniając wszystkie komponenty próbuje wyłapać co jest przyczyną tego problemu - obudowa, płyta pcb, przetwornica, hub usb, przejściówka minipcie-usb, modem usb, karty wifi 2x.

Czy po samym logu jesteś w stanie mi coś zasugerować, gdzie szukać przyczyny?

usbnet - zapewne chodzi o mój modem lte e3372h, ale pamiętam, że robiłem też test bez niego i tak samo nie miałem komunikacji po uruchomieniu. Fakt, nie sprawdzałem wtedy loga po UART. No nic, porównuje i szukam dalej smile

A tu coś źle wgrałeś (zostały śmieci we flash, flash nie został skasowany itd). Zrób firstboota, na najlepiej zrób mtd -r erase rootfs_data

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

Bo mam obawy, że te moje nowe Flashe to są "china quality", czyli podróbki. Wlutowałem do jednej płyty starego Flasha 16MB (tej wcześniej niby nie działającej, niestety mam w niej teraz OpenWRT v17) i porównuje przez noc.

Ta 16MB bez obudowy nie uruchomiła się 3 razy, a ta z flashem 64MB w obudowie przez noc nie podniosła się 54 razy hmm
Rano przełączyłem cykl 4 minuty włączone, 6 minut wyłączone - brak już pomysłów.
Wieczorem zamienię płyty na odwrót i sprawdzę.

W sumie to wszystkie kości są "chińskie" smile. Możesz ew kupić z tme czy innego mousera jakieś dobre jakościowo kości i zobaczyć.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

I zamieniłem płyty miejscami. Płyta z 16MB w obudowie nie uruchomiła się 2 razy, a ta z 64MB 5 razy przez 15 godzin strzelania prądem. A kilka dni temu były też sytuację, że po 5-10 razy ręcznie musiałem resetować prądem, bo nie mogłem uruchomić routera po zaniku zasilania. Ciężka sprawa będzie znaleźć przyczynę, ale dzisiaj będę miał nowy flash i mam nadzieję, że to rozwiąże sprawę. W końcu od wymiany tych flashy cały problem się zaczął dziać.

Niestety, po wymianie kości jest to samo. Spróbować przesiąść się na v22?

PS. Jeszcze jedno - jeżeli sam kompilujesz soft to zmniejsz spi-max-frequency na coś mniejszego.

Dla kości 16MB (128mb):

spi-max-frequency = <14000000>;

Dla kości 64MB (512mb):

spi-max-frequency = <10000000>;

Co ustawić dla 64MB?
P.S.: Wypaliłem sobie też system na 16MB, brakuje co prawda w nim jakiejś Samby, którą mam w firmware dla kości 64MB, ale można to porównać jak działa

Np. 5000000? Będzie dość wolny ten flash, ale będziesz widział czy to kwestia taktowania flash czy nie.

Ok, kompiluje się. Jedyne co zauważyłem, to problem pojawia się po dłuższym postoju routera. Tak jak teraz od razu po ograniu kości, 5 razy go próbowałem uruchomić, aż w końcu zadziałał.

Mam jeszcze pomysł nagrać na tą kość 64MB moją starą kompilację v17 16MB.

Tylko że do kompilacji dts to on jeszcze nie dotarł. Usuń build_dir/hostpkg/libubox-2021-05-16-b14c4688 i ponów kompilację.

Ps. nie powinieneś kompilować jako root, kompilacja dobrze idzie ze zwykłego usera.
