I see no error and I even received a SMS whilst using that SIM, so I surmise it's not a registration problem.

For completeness, I found out that the connection actually worked (I double-checked with an ethernet one), but the ZTE update server doesn't.

Are there other reports about this b14 firmware? Parts of it should be an openwrt concern too.

The available description of the new B14 looks promising but from the OpenWRT system level I cannot check the ZTE server's problem. I do not use the factory software.
If the B14 is available to make the upgrade by hand I will do so.

I understand. FYI (and everyone else's), the servers it attempt to contact are dmeu.ztems.com:443 and dleu.ztems.com:443.

Via the ZTE Framework you mean? And were, to your knowledge, Elisa or Play or anything else updated to the same effect, modem-wise?

I suppose one could also use the TFTP method to upgrade, but I wouldn't want to force things.
Interesting the bit about DDNS, perhaps they support it now? Not that it would help much with CGNAT, but still...

Zauważcie że to zmieniło oznaczenia. Modem będzie jako 1.0.0B14 ale "integrate_version" już 1.0.1B02

Syslog doszedł i ddns i jak by sprawdzanie stanu łącza przez pingowanie googli?

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

Modem się zupgradował, ale LED się cały czas świeci na niebiesko (nie mruga) i nie mogę z nim dojść do ładu. Gada po USB, przedstawia się, ma dobry APN, ale połączyć się nie chce.

Ja zrobiłem... Na MF286D z Nordica ( z zainstalowanym openwrt ,modemem podniesionym do B12)  wrzuciłem s powrotem partycję mtd8 i mtd9 z B12 ( na żywca przez mtd update..)  , po czym po uruchomieniu orginału i wyszukaniu update znalazł je i się zaktualizował.
macie ten plik z B12 na BB14 ? Da się jakoś ściągnąć ,czy mimo to trzeba go z modemu ? No i backup partycji mtd8 i mtd9 by się też przydał z B14

Zrobiłeś na oprogramowaniu ZTE i dobrze działa? Spróbuj na OpenWRT, bo u mnie nie chce banglać.

I'm currently connected via serial, I've tried changing the IMEI, but Nordic B12 will still fail to perform FOTA,
with this on syslog:

I had the same with mine one. The ZTE does not want to upgrade itself. I had to reinstall OpenWRT. Unfortunately, the OpenWRT does not work with it neither.

I read a report in another forum from an user claiming to have managed to update to b14, but it wasn't a native nordic device.
He couldn't tell me more because the operation was performed remotely.

EDIT: I did it! Now I can see Nordic_MF286D_B14.
The trick apparently is that one has to enable automatic updates, possibly reboot and then recheck by hand.

Trouble is, I can't login from console anymore, not even with the usual password. I remember seeing something during the boot that changed it, but now no more?
