No dobra, to w takim razie inaczej:
Jestem w stanie zamienić router numer dwa na wspierający OpenWRT. Czy w takim razie mogę uruchomić na tych dwóch routerach routing korzystając z sieci LAN do której oba te routery są podpięte?
- Czy router pierwszy nadal będzie mógł nadawać adresy IP dla urządzeń nieważne do którego AP będą podpięte?
- Czy oba urządzenia bezprzewodowe będą w stanie rozgłaszać tę samą siec WiFi z routingiem pomiędzy sobą?
- Czy dla użytkownika końcowego AP będą przezroczyste, nie będzie wiedział do którego jest podpięty?
- Oraz czy jest gdzieś poradnik jak zrobić sieć z routingiem tak, aby urządzenia komunikowały się ze sobą za pomocą sieci kablowej zamiast bezprzewodowej?

Cześć.
Posiadam 3 routery:
- pierwszy jest routerem kablowym, który wpięty jest bezpośrednio do ISP, nawiązuje z nim kontakt i wyprowadza LAN 1GB po kablu do dwóch routerów, ma uruchomiony DHCP i nadaje adresy wszystkim urządzeniom w sieci,
- drugi jest ustawiony w tryb AP na domyślnym oprogramowaniu, łączy się z pierwszym LANem, rozgłasza WIFI w salonie
- trzeci ma zainstalowane OpenWRT i chciałbym go ustawić tak, aby również łączył się poprzez LAN z pierwszym, hosty dostawały adresację z pierwszego routera oraz rozgłaszane WIFI było w sieci MESH z drugim routerem.

W jaki sposób ustawić ten trzeci, aby poprawić zasięg w domu?

Masz problem z niskim transferem czy z małym limitem danych?

Ja też kiedyś miałem Play ze względu na "najlepsza ofertę", która przestawała być najlepszą gdy proste filmy z YouTube zaczęły sie przycinać. Transfer miałem na poziomie 2-3Mbps pomimo zasięgu 60%. Okazało się że to BTS nie wyrabiał bo miał kiepskie łącze do operatora i zapychał się przy większym ruchu. Stąd taka prędkość. Najlepiej było rano, bo prędkość dochodziła do 10Mbps (Trochę powyżej 1 megabajta na sekundę), ale ograniczał mnie QOS na BTSie. Po zamianie SIMa na Plusowego/TMobilowego internet przyspieszył do 45-50Mbps. Dlatego sprawdź swoją konfigurację z kartą innego operatora i będziesz wiedział więcej co Cię tak ogranicza.

A sprawdzałeś może jak zachowuje się ten modem gdy włożysz mu kartę innego operatora niż Play? I jakie prędkości będzie wyciągał na kartach od T-Mobile, Plusa albo Orange?

U mnie jest podobny problem z modemem E398 pracującym w QMI. Niby wszystko jest w porządku, dostaje swoje IP oraz bramę, dzierżawa na 12h, ale pomimo tego po kilku godzinach pracy internet "znika". Router trzyma wszystkie ustawienia ale ping nie przechodzi. dopiero zrobienie reboota albo ifdown/ifup wan pomaga. Testowane na 2ch różnych kartach SIM różnych operatorów, więc to nie jest wina sieci. Używam obrazu z wersją jądra 3.18.23, do nowszej jeszcze nie aktualizowałem.

Dzień dobry.
Po zrobieniu czystego update'u do Luci 15.05 mam problemy z połączeniem się z Play przez LTE. A dokładniej podczas połączenia nie przypisuje mi adresu IP. Po zmianie karty w modemie na Virgin wszystko rusza. Potem zmieniam znów na Play i dalej wszystko działa. Czy ktos wie dlaczego taka sytuacja sie wydarza?

Dzień dobry.
Po wczesniejszych bojach z Playem postanowiłem zerwać z nimi umowę i przenieść się do Tmobile. Zakupiłem starter i testuję u siebie ichnie LTE. Jednak mam problem bo czasami internet znika pomimo ciągłości połącznenia. Konfiguracja dla obu sieci jest taka sama, więc w modemie jedynie przekładam kartę z Play na Tmobile i restaruję router. Posiadam popularny WR1043ND + aktywny hub + Huawei E398 + USB HDD + drukarka. Modem na sieci Play działa bez zarzutu, potrafi wiele dni trzymać połączenie. Natomiast w Tmobile wieczorem wszystko jest ok, a rano nie mam dostepu do internetu. Dopiero restart routera potrafi to przywrócić, ale też nie na cały czas.

Ktoś widzi przyczynę?
Używam CC w wersji r48749 od Cezarego.
Dodatkowo w historii połączenia na stronie Tmobile widać, że tak od którejś godziny modem co godzinę rozłącza się i łączy ponownie, ale nie wiem czy wtedy jest internet czy nie. Może to jest wina operatora a nie mojej konfiguracji?

Możesz mi napisać jakie prędkości osiągasz na swoim modemie w PLAYu? U mnie niby łączy się przez LTE, ale jak robię pomiary przez Speedtest to w zależności od pory dnia mam 1.3-3.5Mb (godziny wieczorne) do 13-14Mb (6 rano). Jak dla mnie to strasznie mało. Pod router mam podłączony TV i YouTube często się zacina przez niskie transfery, trzeba czekać aż film się zbuforuje i ruszy ale co chwile jest to samo.

Przez QMI jeszcze nie próbowałem, na razie przez LUCI ustawiłem opcje tak żeby to działało. A jak już zadziałało to sprawia kłopoty. Dziś jak wrócę to pokombinuje żeby działało na nowym sterowniku.

Dzięki za radę. Poprawiłem kartę SIM i ruszyło.
Ale martwi mnie też to samo-rozłączanie. Czasem muszę zrestartować router aby załapał.

Dzień dobry.
Posiadam TP-Link TL-WR1043N/ND v1 z softem OpenWrt Barrier Breaker 14.07 / LuCI 0.12 Branch (0.12+git-15.037.36195-f1e2a26). Do niego mam przyłączony aktywny hub USB, a do huba Huawei E398, drukarkę i dysk z własnym zasilaniem. Problem jest z modemem, bo jak przez długi czas działał poprawnie, tak raz na jakiś czas rozłącza się z siecią LTE i nie może połączyć. Manualne łączenie nie pomaga, trzeba router zrestartować żeby ruszyło. Dzisiaj wogóle odmówił posłuszeństwa.

Modem podłączony do komputera łączy się bez problemu.

Zmieniłem tam wartość z 5 na 25 sekund i nic sie nie poprawiło, jedynie co to router zaczął się dłużej uruchamiać. Nic już z tego nie rozumiem...

Dodam, że mam do routera podłączony USB hub i do niego modem 3g, na którym jest karta z extrootem, dysk 1TB 3,5 cala oraz drukarkę.

Dzień dobry.
Mam zrobionego extroota na modemie 3g, E353s-2. Po włączeniu urządzenia do prądu extroot nie chce wystartować, długo się schodzi na uruchomieniu modemu, przełączeniu go i odczycie karty microSD.
Jeśli natomiast zrestartuję router za pomocą polecenia 'reboot', extroot wstaje i wszystko działa tak jak trzeba.
Moim skromnym zdaniem wystarczyłoby zwiększyć czas potrzebny na zamonotwanie extroota z domyślnych 20 na 30 sekund lub więcej w zależności od potrzeb.
Gdzie w BB mogę znaleźć zmienną która definiuje czas wstawania extroota?

Zainstalowałem sobie do mojego TP Linka 1043ND obraz Cezarego OpenWRT AA z 16.08.2013, zrobiłem extroota na modemie 3G, poinstalowałem kilka usług (samba, transmission, minidlna itp). Od czego mogło to się wziąć?
Dodam, że router mam już 3 lata i ok 2 lata temu została mu wymieniona pamięć na 64MB RAMu.

Do tej pory było wszystko ok, ale na tym obrazie czasami nie uruchamia sie z extroota (długo wykrywa USB) i myślę że to może miec zwiżzek z wysypami pamięci.

Z ciekawości sprawdziłem inne sieci WiFi, moja pracuje na kanale 2 a najbliższa niej jest na kanale 5. Router stoi w szafce pod telewizorem, do laptopa ma około 3ch metrów, moc sygnału jest na poziomie -73dBm, więc sygnał jest silny. Połączenie między routerem a laptopem ustawiło sie na 150Mbps.

Nawet jeśli obsługa łącza typu szyfrowanie, CRC, redundancja, skanowanie protokołów itp zabierało i 50% łącza, to pozostaje mi ok 80Mbps na dane, co daje ok 10MBps transferu. Nie mam pojęcia co się dzieje że ten transfer jest niższy i to aż 10cio krotnie.

To ma tłumaczyć różnicę wydajności tej samej funkcji na różnych interfejsach? System plików to Ext4

Od zawsze słabo działała mi Samba po Wifi (transfer 1-2 MB/s), dziś zacząłem grzebać głębiej. Połączyłem się przez SSH i uruchomiłem Iperf na routerze jak i na lapie. Transfer miedzy urządzeniami samoczynnie ustawił się na 150Mb.

W logach nie mam nic na temat prędkości.

Pobierając pliki z Samby na dysku USB mam transfer 1-2 MBps po WiFi, 10MBps po ethernecie.
Żeby bylo jasne podłączałem też pendrive do routera, ale gdy na nim włącze Sambe transfery sa takie same.
Dodam, że router ma podłączony hub USB, a do huba jest wpięte kilka urządzeń, w tym owy dysk.

Co może być przyczyną takiego zachowania?

Jakiej ładowarki użyłeś? Podaj mi model i prąd wychodzący. Skoro u Ciebie działa to może sobie też taką kupie :-).

Też mam tego huba i niestety u mnie tez nie działa za dobrze. Wg mnie głównym winowajca jest tu zasilacz, który ma tylko 1000mA. Jak wiadomo 1 port USB zużywa max 500mA, więc 7 portów będzie zużywało 7x500=3500mA, czyli 3,5A. I to fakt, u mnie dysk twardy 2.5' podłączony do routera działa bardzo dobrze, a gdy go podłącze do huba to nie chce startowac.
