Witajcie,
zaczynam reinstalacje starego gargoyle na routerze na nową "gargoyle-1.5.9.7-ar71xx-wrt160nl-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin".

Czy podłączenie aktywnego HUBa USB można wykonać w dowolnym momencie, tzn. czy HUB USB jest transparentny? Pytam ponieważ chce uniknąć dodatkowej "dużej" konfiguracji w przyszłości.

Sytuacja teraz:
router -> dysk (extroot) bezpośrednio pod USB routera

Sytuacja docelowa:
router -> HUB USB -> 1) dysk (extroot) pod USB huba
                              2) kamera pod USB huba
                              3) np. modem 3G

Tak, hub jest przezroczysty z takiego punktu widzenia. Natomiast może powodować różne problemy transmisyjne, ale to już Ci wyjdzie w praniu.

OK, thx.

Jeszcze jedno pytanie, do ilu znaków (łącznie ze specjalnymi) może mieć hasło dla WiFi?
Próbowałem np. z 50cioma i nie zapisuje konfiguracji przez GUI. Przy długości hasła 30tu znaków jest OK.

999 znaków przyjmuje formularz w htmlu. Sprawdzę w domu ile znaków akceptuje bo nie wiem teraz.

Witam,
pisze w tym poście bo w końcu usiadłem do instalacji na router'ku od zera.
Zrobiłem extroot'a zgodnie z poradnikiem i po reboot  mam konfiguracje taka sama jak przed. Co więcej po df -h widzę:

3. system wykrywa partycje, nie przejmuj się tym.

Używasz gargoyle. Zrobiłeś extroota zgodnie z tym: http://eko.one.pl/?p=gargoyle-fstab#int … racjarczna ? Czy czasami nie zrobiłeś tego extroota na karcie pamięci w modemie 3g?

Witaj,
zrobiłem upgrade do "gargoyle-1.5.10.12-ar71xx-wrt160nl-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin" (usuniecie starej konfiguracji). Dysk USB 200GB 2,5" podpięty bezpośrednio pod router. EXTroot'a robiłem zgodnie z http://eko.one.pl/?p=openwrt-externalroot.

Zrób zgodnie z linkiem powyżej, bo w grargoyle będzie to to gryzło z pluginiem (albo go odinstaluj).

Witaj,
niestety dalej to samo, nawet zrobiłem od początku update żeby wyczyścił cały konfig. Kroki które wykonałem po skonfigurowaniu router'a:


1) Przygotowanie partycji:
/dev/sda1 - SWAP (64M), nie formatowałem
/dev/sda2 - Linux

2) Odmontowanie dysku /dev/sda bo był zamontowany
# umount /dev/sda2

3) Formatowanie partycji pod extroot'a
# mkfs.ext4 -m 0 -L EXTROOT /dev/sda2

4) Przygotowanie do extroot'a
# opkg update
# opkg install block-mount
# uci set fstab.automount.anon_mount=0
# uci commit fstab
# uci set fstab.@mount[0].target=/overlay
# uci set fstab.@mount[0].device=/dev/sda2
# uci set fstab.@mount[0].enabled=1
# uci set fstab.@mount[0].fstype=ext4
# uci commit fstab

5) Sprawdzenie pliku /etc/config/fstab i jego output
# cat /etc/config/fstab

config global 'automount'
        option from_fstab '1'
        option anon_mount '0'

config global 'autoswap'
        option from_fstab '1'
        option anon_swap '0'

config mount
        option fstype 'ext4'
        option options 'rw,sync'

Po prostu sprawdź na dowolnym innym pendrive czy działa. Jakiś tam mały pendrive zawsze znajdziesz.

Więc tak:
1) zrobiłem raz jeszcze extroot'a na pendrive i jest OK
2) te same polecenia /czynności w tej samej kolejności wykonane na dysku nie działają
