Temat: restart rutera co minutę

Witam ponownie.
Mam problem - jak w temacie. Przez kilka dni nie używałem urządzenia więc go wyłączyłem i odłączyłem modem 3G oraz pendriva. Miałem extroota.  Dziś chciałem już go włączyć więc podpiłem modem pod usb oraz pendrive. Pech chciał że chyba zamieniłem porty usb. Modem uzyskał połączenie z Aero na minutkę po czym skończył się internet. Zalogowałem się na ruter i tam zbyt wiele info nie ma - tyle co czas pracy ruterka 1 minuta. Wiec pomyślałem że podpiołem odwrotnie urządzonka. Wyłączyłem ruter i zamieniłem miejscami urządzonka. Niestety połączenia z internetem  nie uzyskał. Laptop łączy się z ruterkiem co minutę po czym następuje zrywanie połączenia. Domniemam że to restart.

Gdy uruchomiłem ruter bez modemu i bez pendriva to działa już 20 minut - wiec chyba nie jest tak źle.
To właściwie od czego mógłbym rozpocząć naprawę. Swego czasu wklejałem tu trochę logów - może dało by radę z nich wyczytać pod który usb podpiąć modem a pod który pendriva. Tylko co tu wcześniej zrobić?

Nie ma kompletnie znaczenia pod który podepniesz modem a pod który nośnik, zakładając że extroota zrobiłeś przez uuid. Zrobiłeś?

ja ze swojej strony proponuje jako rozwiazanie problemu:
1. uruchomienie routera bez wtykania czego kolwiek w USB (ważne!)
2. przejść przez procedure resetu fabrycznego (firstboot)
3. przekopiować dane z usb na komputer, sformatowac karte sd
4. zrobic nowego extroota
5. zrobic nowa konfiguracje na extroocie

extroota robiłem poprzez gui - czyli przez przeglądarkę internetowa.
Tam tylko wpisałem ile miejsca na swap i kliknąłem przycisk do utworzenia extroota.
Więcej chyba nic nie robiłem z tym - poza instalacja dodatkowego oprogramowania jak pyload czy też transmission.

Czyli masz przez uuid. Więc jak pisałem - port nie ma znaczenia.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

Hmm to od czego mogę zacząć?
Podłączyć modem i patrzyć czy ruter nie resetuje się czy może podłączyć pendriva i sprawdzać.
A jeśli wszystko ok to dołączyć drugie urządzenie?

Podłącz pendrive, niech wystartuje z extroota, potem na żywca podłącz modem i zobaczysz.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

Tak też zrobiłem i niestety nie jest dobrze.

Ruter wystartował - wszystko jest ok. Odczekałem 5 minut i podłączyłem modem 3G. Po chwili modem nawiązał połączenie z siecią i po kilkunastu sekundach zapaliły się wszystkie diody na ruterze i następuje restart.

Chodziło mi o sprawdzenie czy modem nie potrzebuje większego prądu niż router może mu dać. Tak, wiem, pisałeś że poprzednio działało. Ale również dobrze coś operator mógł poprzestawiać na btsach.

Niestety nic nie wyczytałem - aczkolwiek zaskakujące jest trochę że w momencie podpięcia modemu system jakby montował swap.

Hmm nie mam pojęcia gdzie ten swap - chociaż to chyba kolejna partycja więc numerek większy.

Podłączyłem tylko samego pena. Uruchomiłem ruter.
Wydałem polecenie

date -s '2013-07-14 22:44'

Podłączyłem modem - i działa.

Natomiast jest to tylko taka prowizorka. A jakie powinno być docelowe rozwiązanie?

Tak by było najlepiej ;-)

Ale chyba go jeszcze wyłączę na noc. Bo jak mi się tu zacznie restartować co kilka min to może do rana nie podołać.
A czy jest jakieś info zgłoszone developerom że coś jest nie tak z tym ustawianiem daty?


A czy w ruterze musi być ustawiona data? Może da się coś na sztywno wklepać jakiś rok 2000 i dodać do uruchomienia przed inicjowanie połączenia z siecią. Taka prowizorka już nie była by taką prymitywną ;-)

Gargoyle samo robi. Wystarczy jak z gui go zrestartujesz to zapamięta ostatnią datę.

Resetowanie urządzeń po wyłączeniu z prądu na kilka dni i po ponownym włączeniu, jest charakterystycznym objawem wyschniętych kondensatorów elektrolitycznych w impulsowych układach zasilania.
Jeśli masz możliwość to pożycz od kogoś zasilacz do routera (zróć uwagę na napięcie, maksymalny prąd i biegunowość we wtyczce zasilającej) i sprawdź czy na nim się czasem nie poprawi.
Na płycie głównej wewnątrz routera w okolicy gniazda zasilającego jest przetwornica w której również znajdują się kondensatory elektrolityczne.
Jeśli będą spuchnięte to to może być przyczyną resetowania routera i/lub zbyt małej wydajności pradowej zasilacza powodującej resetowanie się urządzenia po podpięciu zewnętrznego modemu.
W przypadku spuchnięcia kondensatorów, ich wymiana zdecydowanie pomoże.

Testów ciąg dalszy.
Powróciłem z pracy - i stwierdziłem że ruter cały czas pracuje - całe szczęście. Połączenie z netem jest.
No to mu dałem restart z GUI - ponoć miał zachować datę. Tak też się stało - no może późnił się 2 minutki.

No to dałem już reboot z konsoli. Uruchomił się, połączył z siecią, ustawił godzinkę i się nie zresetował :-)
