Witam

Może nie do końca sprawa stabilności modemu, ale blisko, więc podepnę się pod temat.

Mam MR3220 v1.2 Gargoyle 1.5.9.5 i Huawei E173u-2 z Aero2 29% (-95dBm, CSQ: 9).
Działa całkiem ładnie do momentu zerwania połączenia co godzinę.
Wtedy odnawia połączenie przez ok 3 minuty - kilka prób połączenia w logach.
Jeżeli wepnę modem bezpośrednio do PC odnowienie odnowienie połączenia trwa ok sekundę.
Czy to jest problem oprogramowania routera, czy słabego zasilania USB ?

Problem słabego zasilania łatwo sprawdzisz dają dobrej jakości hub pomiędzy.

Spotkałem się wczoraj z dziwną sytuacją na 1.5.9.5. Dwa razy była przerwa w dostawie prądu u mnie w domu. Za pierwszym razem ruter rozpoznał modem ale nie mógł go uruchomić, a za drugim razem w ogóle już nie mogłem wejść na stronę rutera i pomógł jedynie reset do ustawień fabrycznych. Aha i jeszcze jedno. Dlaczego jeśli ruter uruchomimy z już wpiętym modemem to nie rozpozna tego modemu? trzeba najpierw uruchomić ruter poczekać aż się włączy i dopiero później wpiąć modem.

Uruchom z routerem i zobacz w /proc/bus/usb/devices czy w ogóle widzi urządzenie.

Teraz już wszystko działa, jak wczoraj patrzyłem w logi po pierwszej awarii to rozpoznawał modem tylko nie udawało mu się nawiązać połączenia, tak jakby nie odpowiadał, mogłem logi skopiować bo  teraz to trochę wróżenie z fusów, nie pomyślałem. Po prostu zdawało mi się, ze takie urządzenia są odporne na zaniki zasilania.

aktualnie jest podpięty modem gsm niestety brak internetu chociaż modem jest podłączony/swieci na niebiesko/. Gdy jest podpięty wan pod kablówke wszystko jest ok

Bo multiwan uważa z jakiegoś powodu że wan2 nie działa.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.
