Temat: config - problem

Witam wciiąż mam problem, z konfiguracją mojego routerka jako AP. Internet dostarczany jest kablem do jedynego portu, a następnie chciałbym, by był rozprowadzany drogą radiową. Jednak problem jest taki
- po przy próbie podłączenia się do WIFI router nie przydziela adresu IP
- internet nie trafia z eth0 na ath0

Z góry dziękuje za pomoc gdyż mi pomysły się już wyczerpały. Dodam że plik z konfiguracja firewalla (firewall.user) jest pusty

ok, zainstalowalem (opkg instal hostapd), jednak na marginesie dodam, że wcześniej zainstalowany był Hostapd-mini.

jak mogę teraz sprawdzić, czy pakiet zainstalował się poprawnie.

Jednak, sytuacja się nieco poprawiła - dodałem konfigurację dnsmasq w pliku /etc/config/dhcp. To teraz już laptop łączy się z routerem (pobiera IP) jednak wiciąż nie ma internetu. Po wpisaniu na laptopie 'ping www.wp.pl' odpowiada 'Odpowiedź z 10.0.0.1 - port docelowy nieosiągalny'.

Zainstalowałem wszystko od nowa, zmieniłem jedynie wpis w pliku network (dodałem sekcje wan - dhcp) a w sekcji lan zmieniłem jedynie interejs na ath0 i działa

jednak nie jest tak kolorowo - po podłaczeniu się laptopem do routera i wejście na jakąś stronę www - router się restartuje. Nie wiem dlaczego sad . Może masz jakieś propozycje Cezary ?

Masz tam rs? Podłącz się i zobacz co powoduje przekręt - czy to driver od karty wlan czy kernel.  Jeżeli driver to możesz zamiast madwifi używać ath5k. Ale jeżeli tak jest to należało by to developerom zgłosić (oni ten port madwifi utrzymują)

Nie widać żadnej reakcji - po prostu router się zawiesza i restartuje.
Po odinstalowaniu mad-wifi i zainstalowaniu ath5k, sieć w ogóle nie jest  widoczna.

ale czy to w ogole możliwe, może ten restart to kwestja ustawień ?

Mało prawdopodobne.  Zresztą za wiele to tam nie możesz ustawić, a sam madwifi jest dość dobrze wytestowany i nie ma z  nim większego problemu.

co co ath5k - jeszcze konfigurację musiał byś zmienić, bo teraz to nie atheros tylko mac80211

Mój problem jest wciąż nie rozwiązany, zainstalowałem nową wersję Openwrt (RC). Teraz po podłączenia się do RB411 z laptopa a następnie próbie przeglądania www wyświetla błąd :
