Odp: D-Link M30/CP (IDU dla Plusa)

@kaszaq  Może to nie wygląda oczywiste ale patrz na .dts i change implementujące Keenetic KN-3711 tam to działa mimo że widoczny jest split i brak partycji kernel

Przejrzałem jak wygląda KN-3711 i tam wygląda na to, że na początku UBI jest partycja kernel o stałym rozmiarze 6 MB, dzięki temu bootloader jest w stanie ją odczytać nawet jeśli pozostała zawartość pamięci jest sklejona z drugim firmware. W D-Link nie mamy osobnej partycji na kernel, przez co układ musi być odczytywalny przez u-boot.

W sprawie adresu MAC jest PR i dyskusja pod nim, wygląda na to, że M60 w dwupaku ma inny numer modelu na partycji ODM i potrzebny byłby parser:

Paser TLV pozwoliłby na pozbycie się łatki dla M30/CP, który ma ten sam "problem".

W kwestii rozszerzenia partycji, przygotuję w tym tygodniu obraz do testowania. Layout wygląda tak samo jak w M30, więc powinno pójść bez problemu tą samą drogą.

Próbowałem zbudować, ale niestety wywala mi się cały czas na coreutils. Muszę postawić na świeżo system do budowania OpenWRT, możliwe że mam jeszcze jakieś pozostałości po budowaniu poprzednich wersji, które przeszkadzają.

@pytonlon Proszę, oto testowe obrazy dla M60 z poszerzeniem rozmiaru partycji systemowej oraz (być może się uda) poprawką dla adresów MAC. Nie obiecuję nic w kwestii ich zawartości, budowałem z domyślnym configiem, celem jest sprawdzenie czy działa powiększenie miejsca na dane oraz czy MACi zaczutują się prawidłowo. Instaluje się przez recovery: najpierw obraz recovery, który startuje do initramfs, a następnie z poziomu tej wersji instalujemy sysupgrade:

Gdyby coś nie wchodziło, z poziomu D-Linkowego recovery można wgrać "normalny" build OpenWRT.

Powrót do normalnego układu partycji: wywołanie poniższych komend z poziomu OpenWRT i instalacja fabrycznego obrazu lub "normalnego" OpenWRT z poziomu recovery:

ip link zgłosił te same adresy jak poprzednio;


recovery do poprzedniego układu partycji wymagało kilka prób wgrania recovery zanim system zgłosił się poprawnie, aby wykonać komendy do przywrócenia układu partycji i wgrania "normalnego" obrazu Openwrt od Cezarego. Co zaobserwowane to inaczej troszkę wygląda zestaw raportowanych danych  za pomocą fw_printenv

Odp: D-Link M30/CP (IDU dla Plusa)

Witam,
i mnie spotkał ten sam problem z adresami MAC, M60 z 'dwupaku' prosto z pudełka wgrane openwrt przez recovery zakończone sukcesem.
Dziś podmiana sprzętów i jakie zdziwienie gdy w konfiguracji MF286D -> 2x M60 jako dumpAP działa tylko z jedną sztuką.
Spotkało mnie dublowanie adresów MAC na lan i wlan...
Aktualnie pozmieniane ręcznie na interfejsach.
Czy istnieje może jakiś patch który na istniejącym już systemie przywróci adresy do normalności?

Dzięki za testy.

Rzuciłem jeszcze okiem na PR z GitHuba, gdzie jest opisany problem z MACami na M60-2 i poprawiłem offsety. Kolejne testowe buildy w tym samym folderze na GDrive, na tych samych zasadach co poprzednio, można zrobić sysupgrade z poprzedniego builda (ale nie bezpośrednio z wersji nie-ubootmod):
