SUKCES, OpenWrt udało się zainstalować dopiero z poziomu uboota wykorzystując factory.ubi

4. u-boot factory.ubi image method
    Put openwrt-ipq807x-generic-yuncore_ax880-squashfs-factory.ubi to your TFTP server and rename it to ax880.ubi
    Enter u-boot cli and exec these commands:
    `tftpboot <your_tftp_server_ip>:ax880.ubi`
    After downloading is finished:
    `flash rootfs`
    `flash rootfs_1`
    `reset`

W obu przypadkach uboot dołącza mtd2, dopiero stock kernel ustawia root fs na mtd21

Kolejność zależy od tego który flash jest pierwy wykryty. Był nand, więc partycja roofs jest jako /dev/mtd2

Ubifs w ogóle po wgraniu ze stocka nie podłączyło sobie woluminu jako roofs z jakiegoś powodu. Albo np. w bootloaderze jest na stałe zapisane że musi to jakiś zdefiniowane (PS. nie, bo przecież później się uruchomił po wgraniu z bootloadera).

initramfs w którymś momencie też, ale przez tftp z poziomu uboota. O co konkretnie pytasz?
Z poziomu stock FW można wgrać yuncore_ax880-squashfs-factory.bin po zmianie nazwy oraz rozszerzenia dokładnie na "factory.ubin"

Skompilowałem też FW z openwrt-ipq, trochę to trwało więc mogę się podzielić https://github.com/qosmio/openwrt-ipq

Wgrałem właśnie luci-24.10-snapshot-r28784-155eea44e7-qualcommax-ipq807x-yuncore_ax880-initramfs-uImage.itb , przez tfrp. Z tego co widzę, jakoś się uruchomiło, ale nie był to oczywiście start bez żadnych błędów.

Jak wgrać najlepiej ten openwrt-ipq ?
BTW: wykonałem kopię wszystkich MTD.

Szczerze mówiąc na LED i przycisk nie zwróciłem uwagi.

Przetestowana ścieżka: z poziomu stock FW wgrać factory jak wyżej, a potem z sysupgrade między wersjami nie ma już problemu (oczywiście przy wgrywaniu forka z NSS na zwykły Openwrt i na odwrót, bez zachowania ustawień).
