skonfigurowałem według informacji, które tu znalazłem, ale modem nie działa "Urządzenie sieciowe nie jest obecne"

O modemy Cat.6 czy CAT.7 trudno na tym złączu( z agregacją dwóch pasm)  , nie mówiąc już o CAT.12( QAM256 MIMO4x4) ,czy wyższych...

Przy okazji jakby ktoś wiedział jaki modem mPCIe ( może być CAT.3) działa na Windowsie ?

Czyta poprawnie. Zrestartuj go i zobacz czy złapie ew zmień sobie w /lib/netifd/proto/ncm.sh i podstaw na stałe tego marvella żeby nie było problemu z czytaniem.

zahaszowałem tam wyjscie ze skryptu, idzie zatem dalej lecz i tak nic się nie zmienia. Dla marvella przepisalem init recznie do konsoli. Czy te polecenia nie powinny wypluć przynajmniej 'OK'   ??

Poszło dalej, jednak wróciła sytuacja sprzed paru aktualizacji, czyli czeka w nieskończoność na IP przy ustawieniu "Wg ustawień modemu"  albo nie toleruje "option mode 'auto'"  przy ustawieniu 5G/4G/3G/2G.

Rozumiem, że nie mogę wrócić do poprzedniej wersji. Żałuję że nie zrzuciłem dmesg tamtej wersji żeby porównać z nim obecny. Coś musi być inaczej już przy uruchamianiu pierwszych procesów.
