Na takiej maszynce zainstalowałem Gargoyle X86.
CPU N3160
2 GB ram
Gargoyle gargoyle-1.14.0.3-generic-squashfs-combined-efi (1).img na karcie SD USB.

Download to ledwo 200Mbit.
Ma tym samym sprzęcie czyste openwrt radzi sobie dużo lepiej.

W czym może być problem.
Zależy mi na Gargoyle ze względu na prostotę obsługi i wbudowany WireGuard.

Na podobnym sprzecie z openwrt nie ma problemu ponad 2Gb przewalic na kartach intela. Cos masz niehalo, probowales opnsense/pfsense? Jakie tam układy lan?

Na opnsense działa dużo lepiej ale jakoś mi nie po drodze z tym systemem.

Jakie masz prędkości na zwykłym openwrt, 22.03? (koniecznie na tym, bo na tej wersji jest gagroyle 1.14 oparte).

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

Czy ta maszynka po stronie lan ma kartę sieciową na pci czy ona jest wbudowania?
Zamień w konfigu interfejsy lan i wan miejscami i zobacz czy od strony wanu też będzie tylko 200. Jeżeli tak to zwalona jest karta sieciowa lub jej sterownik.

Zainstalowałeś mój obraz 22.03, w repo u mnie znajdziesz także sterownik kmod-realtek-r8168 który jest od realteka. Możesz go zainstalować zamiast tego z kernela (odinstaluj kmod-r8169 i zrestartuj)  i zobaczysz czy to coś da.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

Karta zintegrowana w laptopie.
Generalnie daje radę z każdym innym routerem i systemem.

Zainstalowałem jeszcze raz openwrt na nowym pendrive.

Po włączeniu leci 500mbit. Nie jest to pełny gigabit ale na moje łącze jest OK.

Potestuję jeszcze.

irqbalance trochę pomaga ale niewiele.
flow_ofloading rozwala wyresy w Gargoyle.

Zaskoczony jestem, że rouring i NAT i firewall wymagają aż tyle mocy obliczeniowej.

Kupiłem NanoPI R2S - nie daje rady z pppoe i 500mbit łącze.
Nawet intel CPU N100 nie daje rady z pełnym gigabitem (text IPERF3 PC LAN - SRV - PC WAN).

Bardzo to dziwne bo ludzie piszą, że ich openwrt na     Qualcomm IPQ4019 wyciąga 800Mbit bez flow offload i z PPPoE.  To sciema?

Czytając tamte tematy to potrzebujesz conajmniej i5 nie za starej generacji... Atom c2558  z pfsense nie ma problemu ogarnąć 900Mbps przy torrentowaniu . Być może jest tam problem z przerwaniani, lany realteka nie pomagają.

Ledwo 250Mbit wyciąga przy irqbalance + packet_steering.
Flow offload nie używam bo rozwala statystyki Gargoyle.

Zaczynam testy N100. Jednak ten procek to i5 klasa chyba musi być.
