Temat: ZTE MF282

Ludzie piszą że jest to model produkowany przez ZTE specjalnie dla sieci "3" pod nazwą "Drei Tube". Wg specyfikacji

SoC: QCA9563 (775MHz)
RAM: 128MiB
Flash: 8MiB SPI-NOR + 128MiB SPI-NAND
LAN: 1x GBit LAN
LTE: ZTE MF270 (Cat4), detected as P685M
WiFi: QCA9880ac + QCA9560bgn

Ma swojego starszego brata "Drei Tube+" który jest już na ipq40xx, ale na razie skupmy się na tym pierwszym.

Router należy do tych "dziwnych" - bo jest świecącą tubą która tak naprawdę jest routerem który można wpiąć bezpośrednio do gniazdka - należy dodać że dość dużym bo ma średnicę aż 13cm. Górna część jest właściwym routerem z wbudowaną wtyczką do gniazdka, dolna część jest tylko "podstawką" z własnym kablem.

Jeden slot sim, modem LTE cat4 (na qmi, co ciekawsze nie wbudowany w płytkę tylko normalny w slocie minipcie), jeden ethernet oraz sieć wifi 2.4GHz  + 5GHz AC. Po prostu zwykły router na qualcommie, podobny sprzętowo trochę do znanych MF286/MF286A.

Co do OpenWrt - działa. Tak po prostu, wsparcie jest zrobione dość dobrze bo m.in połączone są różne partycje dając łącznie prawie 95MB wolnej przestrzeni dla użytkownika. Cena na allegro to jakieś 170zł (stan na luty 2024). Dużo czy mało to już zostawię do decyzji kupującemu, zostawiam tylko info żeby było wiadomo że takie coś istnieje.

Jeżeli ktoś potrzebuje "zwykłego" routera do LTE - jak najbardziej. Choć mówię od razu że wzbudza trochę zdziwienia i większość ludzi widząc go pyta się "co to jest".

Moim zdaniem cena niewspółmierna do możliwości. Za ok. 200zł można mieć sprzęt z AX.

Cóż, czasami mam nowości, czasami mam złom technologiczny który (przy odrobinie zainteresowania) nadal działa i daje się przerobić na openwrt.

Ale powiem wam że taki dysk w gniazdku dziwnie wygląda. Tym bardziej że świeci ledami którymi modem steruje a nie router, więc sprzęt od razu budzi zainteresowanie.

Zaaplikowane MiFi na tym "cacku". Oryginalny soft bez zarzutu. Dla pewności dwukrotnie zrobiony sysupgrade.
Domyślnie WAN jest jako modem RAS na USBtty2 i w sumie można by na tym poprzestać gdyby nie to że pasmo 3G odchodzi do lamusa. Na tym połączeniu łączy się ze światem.

Niestety po przełączeniu na QMI na cdc-wdm0, wwan0 też wstaje i dostaje IP, wydaje się być ok, ale ze światem nawet przez chwilę nie zagada. Reset ustawień - nic nie daje.

RAS (proto 3g) to NIE JEST "pasmo" ani technologia 3G (czyli UMTS). To tylko nazwa, może nazywać się RAS czy ppp czy alamakota i było by dobrze. Nie sugeruj się tym że 3g w proto oznacza właśnie 3g w technologii, nie. Tak to nazwali bo pierwotnie to powstało dla modemów który miały tylko UMTS i nikomu o LTE się nie śniło, ale przecież na tym jadą np. Huawei E3372 i pochodne. 
Wyłączenie UMTS (3G) nie spowoduje że nagłe ppp (proto 3g wg openwrt) przestanie działać - o ile tylko modem potrafi działać w LTE to nadal będzie chodziło. Do wyrzucenia są za to modemy z samym 3G bez LTE, bo wtedy zostaje tylko 2G. 

Modem w tym modelu u mnie tez nie działa w qmi. Myślę że ten typ tak ma po prostu.

Nawet 10x wolniej niż na fabrycznym, lecz linux nie do zastąpienia. Wolałbym też móc odciąć pasmo B8, które u mnie w okolicy zamula. Co zatem w to włożyć pod QMI, polować na Quectel EC25 ?

Nie znam polecenia do blokowania bandów UMTS. Do lte było at+znlockband, do 3g - nie wiem.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

Dlaczego tak sądzisz ? Status pokazuje WCDMA 900, a na moim nadajniku nie ma pasma LTE 900 tylko LTE 800/2100/1800  oraz WCDMA 900/2100.

Można gdzieś namierzyć próbę logowanie do LTE ?

No akurat włączyłem na próbę MF282 z MiFi , więc na pewno jest połączony w protokole z RAS , no i MiFi wyświetla ,że jestem połączony z B3 (no i piszę przez niego ,żeby nie było ,że internetu nie ma smile )

Jeśli masz problemy z połączeniem , to zobacz , czy gniazda antenowe mają przejścia do anten wewnętrznych.
Często w tych używkach wychodzi , że gniazda są popsute ,ktoś pcha w nie wtyczkę nie taką psując to ,że po wyjęciu wtyczki gniazdo robi zworę do anteny wewnętrznej.
