And this is very good news for the end of the year
Will you write how to nourish it from the dead using qpst? Alternatively, if it is the same as mf286d, please just provide the appropriate files in packages and I will write the instructions.

if we use QFIL (instead of SB3.0) it will be more easily to flash
Let me work on repack stuff, now that I've HW EDL is it more easy to flash ![]()
Fajnie, że wyprowadzili w tym modelu blisko łącza mpcie. Mam 3 modemy zdechnięte od innego modelu być może nawet i ZTE więc posprawdzam sobie te piny. A nóż któryś to EDL boot point ![]()

have you tested into an mPCIe slot? because on it's original router is in USB3.0
I put the remaining modems to converter mpcie to USB adapter
@smereka another use has finally found hardware EDL for that module
many many thanks to checkin665 for this last day of this year
Good job.
But can you tell what exacly do ? There are to arrows to 2 points ? Booth of this points should be grounded to get it to EDL ?
Or one arrow is from some point of USB plug ? Doeas it mean to connect there 5V ? Orher GND ?
oh sorry, you're right
just short them to each other while plug the module into USB port, when you get 9008 COM you can remove the short
Happy New Year, do you have any compiled 289f firmware with the functional plugins already installed? (cell lock bands lock at commands)
Will you be releasing a method and tool for flashing the module on the 9008?

working in progress...
Need to finish rawprogram0.xml to test it with QFIL.
Hope tomorrow to make a test flash to see what will happens (these files are reworked from an Vodafone IT AT.1 file, just boot\kernel\modem are from Vodafone DE)
From my experience with MC7010/801A, some of them can be "swapped" between units

when it's done yes, also repack files for the dump that i've (Vodafone IT AT1\AT2, Vodafone DE, T-Mobile PL), otherwise istructions are useless ![]()
hello I have 50 messages, in theory 50% of the memory but if I try to receive other messages the memory behaves as if it was full
good news guys
EDL recovery was succesfull, so my repack files are good.
Now i've to clean up QCN and check next steps to bring module back to it's normal operation
Hope to finish it tomorrow ![]()

Thank you very much.
Just a quick question, do you have the openwrt firmware for the 289f? The one with the plugin. bands lock cell lock
!!BE AWARE GUYS!!
we have found with MiG25 that swapping firmware on the module will break LED and RJ-11 port
Now we are trying to understand why..
stich86 can you take a look here and reply to me there?
Ill take a look later
Can someone send me a “ps w” of a MF286/289 modem over adb?
Thanks
ok i've found the "issue", tested with MiG25 and now leds\rj11 works again
PLEASE DON'T DOWNLOAD the current images from Mega.
I've to fix all SYSFS and upload them again
I let you know when done
Issue fixed, i've updated sysfs on Mega
Thanks again to MiG25 for the testing!

Not all modules use that pins to enter in 9008 mode, sometimes is the pin 4 with 5 one, sometise 6 pin but check before the tension because some pin are vcc and gnd and you can burn something, I would try using the mf289f to short pins with a high resistor to see how high the resistance can be to get it into 9008 mode then use that resistor for testing.
Ps can anyone help me with the sms memory?

Just remove old messages?

Nice consideration.
Make your check, so in case I can update the git ![]()
Yes , resistor ( like 10kOhm) would be good to check , since here for sure point 4 ( counting from left on the picture ) is definetly VCC ( so 3,3V) ,and you pulling up Point 1 (EDL ).
