Elegancko, to czekam zatem na tutejszy rebuild. Będę przesiadał się z rc1 żeby zobaczyć czy rozwiąże to mój problem z transferem rzędu 350Mbps po SMB na AX3600.

Nie mam czasu na diagnozowanie problemu, ale jak to stawialem jakiś czas temu to przepychało po SMB pełen gigabit tak jak na oryginalnym sofcie, a ostatnio przy kopiowaniu plików max 40MB/s. Speedtest i iperf3 wciąż wysycają gigabit. Testowałem na laptopach z ax201 oraz ax211. Oba utrzymują link na 2,1-2,4Gbps i to samo jest na dwóch posiadanych przeze mnie AX3600, więc w sumie nie wiem jak to dalej diagnozować. Po kablu idzie do 2Gbps czyli tyle ile moje dyski potrafią.

EDIT:
To jednak nie SMB. Z pośpiechu pomyliłem kierunki i jednak iperf3 też utyka w granicach 400Mbps przy pobieraniu. Trochę nie wiem jak to diagnozować bo nic nie zmieniałem w konfiguracji odkąd to stawiałem. Upgrade do rc2 nic nie zmienił.

Już po moich kompilacjach zrobili dwie zmiany - aktualizację w mt76 oraz stwierdzili problemy ze stabilnością firmware do ath11k, więc cofnęli się do wersji bardziej stabilnej. W takim razie dziś ponownie wrzucę kompilację i będą dostępne nowe obrazy.

Jeden z użytkowników (dziękuję) przysłał mi WD N600. I jest z nim ciekawy problem - obrazy luci działają, obrazy z openwrt działają, moje czyste obrazy zaś po kolejnym restarcie nie montują overlaya. Problem jest na tyle dziwny że w logach systemowych twierdzi że nie znalazł żadnego użytecznego overlaya mimo że partycja jest, dane w niej są, można ją zamontować itd. Dotyczy to moich czystych  obrazów 22.03 i 23.05.

Czy ktoś używa WD N600 z moim czystym obrazem i może potwierdzić lub nie takie zachowanie? Na razie znalazłem takie rozwiązanie: jeżeli po kolejnym restarcie nie zamontuje jffs to trzeba wpisać firstboota, bez restartu zamontować partycję gdzieś w katalogu, formatuje sobie jffs i reboot - wtedy działa, przynajmniej na kilkanaście restartów jakie wykonałem (opisałem to także w pierwszym poście). Nie wiem czy to przypadłość tego konkretnego egzemplarza czy w ogóle tego modelu, a jak pisałem - problem jest ciekawy bo moje obrazy z luci działają bez problemu. One są wieksze, więc może jakieś uszkodzenie flasha wchodzi w rachubę, choć w logach nie ma żadnej infomracji że coś się złego dzieje z flash.

Masz zwykły obraz ext4, tam nie ma overlaya i nigdy nie było - bo nie ma takiej potrzeby. Przy ext4 masz cały system plików zapisywalny.

A jak wtedy nie będzie to proponuję jeszcze wyłączyć zasilanie ( nie reboot ,tylko wyłącznik albo cały zasilacz) , i zobaczyć wtedy.

Po firstboot iw list i iw dev nie zwraca kompletnie nic, po restarcie plik wireless jest też pusty.

Obraz generuje w imagebuilder, w obrazie mam wywalony wpad-basic-mbedtls i zainstalowany wpad-mbedtls.
