Odp: ZTE MF289F - Porting OpenWRT

exacly , everybody expect , that wan will be WAN/LAN1...

How to solve it?
I’ve to rename eth0 to 1 and viceversa…

That is a question. If you want to keep eth0 to lan1 and eth1 to lan2  then maybe only in config/network  (bridge eth1 with lan and make eth0 as WAN )?

yes I know, but we are talking about vallina OpenWRT.
Custom build using config/network can be easly done, like my build.. but on vanilla OpenWRT I need to understand how to do it

Next thing , reboot probably not rebooting modem (leds are lighting all the time)  ,also on PCB is not blinking . I belive there where some work on that  recently , since i don't remember such behaviour from your builds.

egarding wifi , as expected , there is still issue with channel 132 (now not starting at all).

reboot for sure is not rebooting modem ( so i.e. will not bring connection after sim exchange). At the same time AT+CFUN=1,1 reboting also mf289f...

Also i'm pritty sure , that status- on pcb blue led was blinking during startup ( like on MF286D) , now blinks maybe once or two times and then it is on all the time...

Odp: ZTE MF289F - Porting OpenWRT

Odp: ZTE MF289F - Porting OpenWRT

reboot for sure is not rebooting modem ( so i.e. will not bring connection after sim exchange). At the same time AT+CFUN=1,1 reboting also mf289f...

Also i'm pritty sure , that status- on pcb blue led was blinking during startup ( like on MF286D) , now blinks maybe once or two times and then it is on all the time...

EDIT: With this blinking of blue status led on pcb during start there is some trick ? Since on @stich86 builds it blinks , but on official builds not....

There is an error on DTS, I’ll submit new PR to patch it. The GPIO of internal LED is wrong

Odp: ZTE MF289F - Porting OpenWRT

Został zgłoszony PR do DSA.

Odp: ZTE MF289F - Porting OpenWRT

Do sprawdzenia

Wolisz luci to doinstaluj luci.

Z konsoli np.

cat /sys/class/net/lan/speed

cat /sys/class/net/wan/speed

Hello,
i´m also owner of an ZTE MF289F and try to migrate to OPENWRT build.
im able to connect to console, but if i try to copy the itb file to the router i receive following error:

tftp openwrt-ipq40xx-generic-zte_mf289f-initramfs-fit-zImage.itb bootm $loadaddr
...
...
...
Using eth0 device
TFTP from Server 192.168.0.2; our IP address is 192.168.0.1
Filename 'bootm'.
Load address: 0x0

Error specified load address not allowed.

maybe somene can help me or give me a hint to flash openwrt.

These are two lines, not one.

tftp openwrt-ipq40xx-generic-zte_mf289f-initramfs-fit-zImage.itb<enter>
bootm $loadaddr<enter>
