Witam Panowie.
Tylko jest mały problem. W instrukcji napisano „zatrzymać uboot po UART”. Na pewno nie działa Ctrl+Q lub Ctrl+C. Ale przed załadowaniem kernela jest wpis w logu: „Press ESC to abort autoboot in 0 seconds”. Jak zatrzymać bootowanie przed kernelem? .

A dobrze wlutowałeś RX?

Witam ponownie. Rzeczywiście coś było z UARTem Prolific 2303. Odbierał komunikaty, ale nie wysyłał. Polutowane piny X8 są dobrze, bo zadziałał CP2102. Wlazłem po UARTcie, wykonałem polecenia:

Doleciałem dotąd.
DHCP nie działa. Komputer z Windows 7 spięty z ZTE MF286D bezpośrednio przez switch RJ'kami.
Nie wykonywałem jeszcze komend :

Ufff. OpenWRT z LuCi zainstalowany na ZTE MF286D :-). Nie obyło się oczywiście bez problemów, ale jakoś to działa. Jeżeli zastosujemy się do tej instrukcji:

 Proszę używac adaptera USB/uart typu CP2102 lub PL2303
CH340 generuje "krzaki" podczas startu uboota

- podłączyć router po kablu LAN
- uruchomić router na fabrycznym sofcie
- włożyć pendrive w systemie fat do routera
- w oprogramowaniu wspierającym SMB sharing jak Telia Nordic na gui właczyć wsparcie SMB
    Bez tego pendrive nie zamontuje się.

   Lub zamiast klikania SMB z GUI to zrobić z shella po włożeniu pendrive:
   mkdir /tmp/usb_disk
   mount /dev/sda1 /tmp/usb_disk
   i podmienić "var" na "tmp" w komendach poniżej
    
- wykonać backup partycji przez konsole UART w shellu przez:
    for i in 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21; do cat /dev/mtd$i > /var/usb_disk/mtd$i; done
    sync
    umount /var/usb_disk
    
- wyjąć pendrive z routera
- ustawić IP interfejsu serwera tftp na 192.168.1.3 255.255.255.0
- wystawic obraz openwrt typu initramfs na tftp jak np. openwrt_initramfs_image.itb
- reboot routera
- zatrzymać uboot po UART
- w uboocie wykonać:
    setenv serverip 192.168.1.3
    setenv ipaddr 192.168.1.72
    set fdt_high 0x85000000
    tftp mifi-21.02-snapshot-r16475-6d266ef158-zte_mf286d-initramfs-fit-zImage.itb
    nand erase 0x1800000 0x1d00000 (opcjonalnie ekwiwalent później wykonywych akcji ubiattach i ubirmvol)
    bootm $loadaddr
    
- router uruchomi się z obrazu "life"
- przestawić interfejsc na DHCP bo openwrt ma inna podsieć
- połaczyć sie po ssh z 192.168.1.1, login domyślny root / bez hasła
- skopiować po scp (używając np. MobaXterm) obraz openwrt typu sysupgrade
- wykonać po uarcie lub ssh:
    ubiattach -m 9
    ubirmvol /dev/ubi0 -N ubi_rootfs
    ubirmvol /dev/ubi0 -N ubi_rootfs_data

    może zwrócić błedy ubifs w tym miejscu  lecz nie są one groźne 
    
- wykonać przez konsolę UART lub ssh:
    sysupgrade -n /tmp/openwrt_sysupgrade_image.bin
 

… na pewno zadziała. Trzeba pamiętać (jak mi doradził  „kmaras77”) o prawidłowym polutowaniu pinów przy gnieździe X8 na płycie głównej ZTE. W moim przypadku spotkałem się też z uszkodzonym kablem UART Prolific 2303. Należy również zwrócić uwagę na adresy IP i maski. U mnie mimo bezpośredniego połączenia routera ZTE do komputera z Windows 7 z użyciem switch’a, raz się urządzenia widziały raz nie. Dziwne ale wszystko działałem na masce 255.255.0.0. OpenWRT startowało na 192.168.1.1, Windows na 192.168.1.3 (255.255.0.0). Na 192.168.1.3 stawiany był TFTP i WinSCP, który był potrzebny do wrzucenia obrazu LuCi do katalogu /tmp na routerze.
Do połączenia z płytą główną ZTE używałem USB-UART (RS232 TTL) CP2102. Podpiąłem tylko RX TX GND, bez kabla napięciowego. Nie jestem linuxowcem, więc musiałem sporo się doedukować w trakcie tego upgradu.

I na koniec mam pytanie. Czy normalnie przez GUI Luci (przez przeglądarkę), mogę wgrać MiFi? A jeśli ta operacja byłaby bezproblemowa, to czy przez GUI MiFi, da się wgrać ponownie LuCI? Jakie będą ewentualne skutki tych matactw? ;-)

Nie możesz, bo mifi w gui nie ma aktualizacji softu. Tylko przez konsole i sysupgrade.

Wiem wiem ze o MT7621 to nie do tutaj ale skoro temat poruszony to napisze co zauwazyłem.
Działa to podstępnie kulawo na ostatnim obrazie 22.03 na Xiaomi 3G.
Właczenie HW offloadu powoduje, że nie da sie streamować nic z Playera.
Ogolnie wszystko działa z wyjątkiem streamu z Playera.
Pół dnia się spałowałem zanim doszedłem co jest przyczyną.
Dziwne ale prawdziwe.

ewidentnie jest jakis hardkod/zjebka.

Ustawiłem nazwe interfejsu na WAN (wwan0) i mimo wybrania z listy istniejących interfejsów tegoż właśnie nadal nie działą info.
Po wklepaniu w configu 3ginfo z palca nazwy WAN pojawiło się że interfejs jest absent i info sie pojawiło

Przywróciłem moja konfigurację z nazwą interfejsu wan_qmi.
Problem wrócił.
Rozwiązaniem jest wpisanie z palca w configu 3ginfo nazwy wan_qmi. Pomimo ze jest absent to info działa.
Nie działa na żadnym interfejsie z listy a działa na wpisanym z palca (widnieje potem jako absent)
Nie wiem czy masz na to wpływ ale pojawienie sie właściwych "alias interface" na liście w configu załatwiłoby w sumie sprawę
Cos jest nie halo ale działa po workaroundzie
