Yes sorry…
The one sold by Vodafone DE (called GigaCube)
Did you made some new builds with you can share ?
Did you made some new builds with you can share ?
No yet
I’m fixing the issues reported by @Leo-PL on my PR.
When done I’ll share new one (with latest 4IceG package)
Did you made some new builds with you can share ?
REMOVED - there is a problem with connection monitor from 4IceG and switch report is still wrong. I’ll try to build new one foe this evening and share it for test
new build with all fixed suggested by Leo-PL (let me know if the switch is correctly displayed now)
for AT1 version still need to change board-2.bin and add firmware-5.bin fro QCA9984
also all app from 4IceG was added
No rush for me , since i'm out till next friday ....
Na allegro jest jeden z T-
MOBILE za 575... Nie wiem czy to dobra ,czy zla cena ,ale z niemieckiego Vodafone są za tyle samo...
Za cat20 - czemu nie, myślę że cena jest w porządku.
here is new build:
https://mega.nz/folder/u4whXLYJ#21cWTZELti69USXLIiAezQ
as usual you need to change ttyUSB0 to 1 on all 4IceG package and for "Connection Monitor" it's necessary to give executable permitiont to the binary file under /usr/bin with:
chmod +x lite_*
chmod +x lite-*
@4IceG do you know why the app for connection monitor doesn't give +x permission to file lite_watchdog*/lite-watchdog*?
Also.. how to force ttyUSB to USB1 on your package? So I can avoid each time to manually modify...
Thx ![]()

Hi @stich86,
I have already corrected the package and it should be OK.
As for changing the settings in the packages, before compiling, create a folder /files/etc/config and put the modified settings files for the packages there.
You can get the settings files by creating a backup archive. After extracting the archive you have a folder "etc" and from there you copy the files you are interested in.

Hi 4IceG,
I can confirm that now watchdog-lite is working.
Regarding /files/etc/config should be put into openwrt root folder where I run the make?
thx

Exactly, the files folder has to be in there where we run make.

...any suggestion for debug 5Ghz (IPQ4019) issue?
Looks like that on MF289F the WiFi is worse compared to MF286D (that is using same chip).
For instance a client on MF289F (using board-2.bin created by stock boardData) gives only max 433Mbit/s (near the router), while on MF286D same client can go up to 866Mbit/s.
May be i've missed something...
AT1 with QCA9984 has no problem
thanks!
Simplest way is that 433Mbps is for Channel 40Mhz ,and 866Mbps is 80Mhz.
What kind of wideband show WiFiAnalizer (apk on android)?

Yes I know, but fix it at 80Mh, near to the router the connection speed is reported as 433Mbit/s ![]()

What does 'iw list' show for MF289F AT1? It looks like only 1 spatial stream is in use.
While testing, I bet you can see 'VHT-MCS 9' and 'VHT-NSS 1' in LuCI for your stattion during high traffic - am I right?
this is 'iw list' from AT1 (QCA9984):

Yeah, VHT-NSS 1, so single spatial stream is used. Strange, to say the least. Isn't this caused by mixed-up contents for board-2.bin extracted from AT1 vs AT2? I'd re-do the extraction or slap in the data from MF286D to see if it helps - of course just to confirm the suspicion.

ATM two tests was done:
- board-2.bin using extracted data from VFIT rom (I’ll try to create it from VFDE/Rev AT2)
- board-2.bin stock, so it’s using “random” board-id=21 (not sure the one from MF286D)
On both tests VHT-NSS was 1
I’ll try later and let you know
Ok you were right Leo-PL.
I did the board-2.bin using 5G boardData from my dump (AT1). Looks like that this file differ from an AT2 version.
New version with correct board data reach same speed of MF286D
But the power seems low compared to stock OFW..
And low power also compared to MF286D?
And low power also compared to MF286D?
looks like also MF286D has same power behaviour.
Calibration of ath10k is a bit like walking in the darkness, because it is result of data from board-2.bin, pre-cal data on flash AND OTP data per unit, with no decoder of board files into plaintext. Both are essentially key-value stores. atheepmgr shows very little data about ath10k due to this.
Still, I would not worry about the power as much, the fact that board-2.bin is extracted from right firmware is more important, and PR on Github needs to be updated.
