Temat: Archer c7 kanały powyżej 48

Witam, posiadam dwa rutery archer ax53 i archer c7v2.  AX 53 pracuje na 100 kanale natomiast w c7 maksymalnie mogę wybrać kanał 48. Aby go nie sprzedawać gdzieś przeczytałem, że rozwiązaniem może być zainstalowanie openwrt luci. Czy to prawda? Czy mogę zainstalować to oprogramowanie na obecne najnowsze tplinka? Czy ruter z openwrt będzie równie szybki jak na oryginalnym? Tego rutera będę używać głównie do wifi. Łącze 700/200.

Bo na najnowszym oprogramowaniu C7 masz automatycznie wybrany region i zablokowaną możliwość jego zmiany.
Wcześniejsze softy (do 3.14.3) miały jeszcze wybór regionu, a co za tym idzie – więcej kanałów do wyboru. Dlatego masz tylko dostępne od 36 do 48.
Nie zastanawiaj się, tylko wgrywaj OpenWrt – bezpośrednio z GUI routera – plik factory (nazwę tylko zmieniasz na krótszą, bo długiej nie przyjmie).

To zależy czy masz router z takim dopiskiem. Jak bez – to wgrywasz factory bez dopisku.

Operacja się udała, openwrt 22.03 zainstalowany chociaż musiałem wgrać wersję EU bo bez dopisku wyskakiwał błąd. Internet jest, kanały powyżej 48 są odblokowane jednak jest pewne ale. Prędkość jaką uzyskuję po wifi 5MHz to 150Mb, po włączeniu w zaporze sieciowej flow offloading, prędkość przy ruterze podskoczyła do 200-220Mb. Czy mogę zrobić coś jeszcze aby zwiększyć prędkość?

Zobaczymy jak i co ustawiłeś. Pamiętaj że przepustowość na wifi zależy też od lokalnego środowiska i klientów, czasami możesz mieć najlepszy AP i transfer i tak mizerny bo wynika to z w/w czynników.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

Bałem się, że napiszesz coś w tym stylu. Niestety jestem kompletnie zielony. Mam to wpisać gdzieś na stronie na której loguję się do rutera openwrt czy za pomocą dodatkowego programu na komputerze? Kanał mam ustawiony 149, w okolicy nie ma innych sieci na tak wysokich kanałach.

Wszystko masz w faq na górze tej strony. Łączysz się przez putty, wpisujesz  po podłączeniu przez ssh do routera.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

Tx i rx są parametrami dynamicznymi, zmieniają się co chwilę. Wykonaj to kilka razy, a zobaczysz że cyferki się zmieniają.
1. Połączyło się na 650 to znaczy ze na 833 też potrafi, a to znaczy że klient ma co najmniej 2x2, więc dobrze.
2. Siła sygnału jest dobra.
3. Bitrate potrafi się połączyć na dużej wartości, więc pomiędzy AP a klientem jest zestawione dobre połączenie.
4. Sam transfer masz dość niski (powinien być ze dwa razy większy) więc albo masz np dużo zakłóceń na paśmie 5GHz (choć nie ma retransmisji pakietów) albo po prostu fizycznie sprzęt kuleje.
5. Ten router po kablu powinien dać Ci te 700Mbps, po wifi już nie
6. Wróć na kanał 36 i zobacz ile masz, bo na 149 masz dość małą moc.

Dodam tylko, że na tplink ax53 w AC prędkość po wifi na tym samym tel. wynosi lekko powyżej 500Mb (domyślam się, że to pewnie szybszy sprzęt).
Wygląda chyba na to, że mój egzemplarz więcej nie da rady. Openwrt wgrałem specjalnie aby uzyskać dostęp do kanałów powyżej 48 bo na tych niższych w moim środowisku już kilka jest i się nachodzą na siebie. A może mógłbym teraz wrócić do oryginalnego może starszego abym miał dostęp do zmiany regionu i dostęp do wyższych kanałów lub na inny kraj? Openwrt wgrałem z dopiskiem EU bo tylko taki mogłem wgrać.

Jak chcesz oryginalny z możliwością zmiany kanałów, to wgraj ten:

Instalujesz -n -F albo upgrade z LuCI z wymuszeniem i bez zachowania konfiguracji.
