zakupiłem Netgear r7800 i wgrałem mu ostatnią kompilacje luci openwrt 19.07 r10867 i chciałem go zrobić jako powtarzacz sieci wi-fi miał on być połączony siecią 5ghz
po podłączeniu urządzenie musi być w innej sieci niż główne router bo inaczej nie działa.
np:
router 1 ma ip 192.168.10.1
router 2 powtarzacz wifi musi mieć ip 192.168.11.1
czym to jest spowodowane ?
problem jest z siecią bezprzewodową trzeba zrobić kilka razy włącz i wyłącz i restart urządzenia by i ręcznie trzeba ustawić kanał np 153 by zadziała zadziałała sieć 5Ghza i gubi ustawiony kanał

1. Wifi będzie miał adres z tej samej klasy co ap. Na lanie musi mieć inny, a to tylko dla własnych celów bo ten adres nie bierze udziału w całym procesie.
2. Zmień kanał na 36. Nie każdy chip/sterownik lubi taki wysokie kanały na dfs.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

Ok spróbuję na niższych kanałach i zobaczymy. A co do ustawienia IP w routerach by były w tej samej sieci.
By mieć zdalny dostęp do powtarzać. Bo jak jest w innej podsieci to niema dostępu zdalnego i internet jest a jak są w tej samej to niema . Chciałbym by to tak wyglądało po LAN  :

192.168.10.10 router 1
192.168.10.12 router 2 repeater

Ta sama sytuacja jest na moim TP-LINK wdr 7500v3 też nie da się ustawić by był w tej samej sieci lan.

jeszcze Maksymalna moc nadawania jak ustawiasz recznie na 5ghz to pokazuje 30dbm i wtedy radia nie działają bo powinny chyba mieć 23dbm,  te ustawienia są od sieci 2.4ghz tam działa prawidłowo na 30dbm

Coś zepsułeś w konfigu, np. nie masz jakiegoś apostrofu bo luci nie potrafi przetrawić. Zrób uci show i znajdź błąd.
I mocy nie ustawia się na 5GHz, chyba chciałeś napisać 5dBm.

Mam pytanie. Pozwolę sobie skorzystać z tego tematu.
Wrzuciłem ostatnie luci z eko na R7800 i próbuję skonfigurować wifi.
Zależałoby mi na sieci 2.4GHz oraz (w tej samej nazwie) na 5GHz.
Aktualnie nie wiem czego, ale 5GHz nie startuje. Proszę o pomoc

Sąsiadka też sieje obok 5GHz na 36 stąd zastanawiałem się czy go zmienić..

Właśnie z tego co kojarzyłem sam router to ma obsługę VHT160 stąd wydawało mi się, że się zgrają z kartą a tu klops..

Przestaw sobie na kraj gdzie dfs nie obowiązuje (np indie), zób restart urządzenia i pewnie uruchomisz vht160 na kanałach 36-64.

Dopiero po przestawieniu na Indie i ustawieniu kanału 100 sieć wstała na VHT160. Na kanale 36 niestety nie wstaje.
