Temat: DWR-966 bootowanie z NAND

Cześć,
próbuje uruchomić OpenWRT na tym routerze. Do tej pory bawiłem się obrazem initramfs, a teraz chciałem wgrać obraz do flash.
Hardware:
CPU: Lantiq GRX390
RAM: 128MB
Flash: 128MB NAND

Nie mam pojęcia do końca pojęcia jak zbootować obraz z uboota. Eksperymetalnie spróbowałem tylko wgrać obraz przez sysupgrade ze zbootowanego obrazu initramfs (tak jak to było dla BT Home Hub 5A). Efekt jest następujący:

Wywala się na nieprawidłowej sumie CRC. Być może coś jest nie tak z partycją UBI, albo czegoś jeszcze brakuje. Ma ktoś pomysł jak rozwiązać ten problem?

USB i switch działa więc mogę wrzucić na niego dowolny obraz. Zrobiłem sobie też kopię wszystkich partycji i jak coś pójdzie nie tak przywrócenie oryginalnego softu nie jest problemem. smile

Sprawdź czy gdzieś (uboot, jakieś payload w obrazie) nie ma dodatkowej sumy kontrolnej wczytywanego obrazu

Niby najprostsza opcja a człowiek czasem dostaje zaćmienia umysłu.

Po wpisaniu komendy OpenWRT bootuje z flash:

1. Wygląda na to, że to na etapie u-boota jest sprawdzane CRC. Tylko czy w takim razie u-boot właśnie nie wywołuje tylko bootcmd domyślnie na starcie?

Śmieszne jest to że oryginalny soft bazuje znów na stareńkim openwrt AA 12.09

Pewnie dlatego, że SDK Lantiqa (UGW-6.1.1) bazowało na OpenWRT AA. W wersji 7.1.1 przerzucili się na OpenWRT CC. Z tego co widzę istnieje też fork OpenWRT bazujący na 19.07, ale wspiera chyba tylko nowsze SoC (XRX350 i te bazujące na x86).

Do tego routera są nawet kompletne źródła GPL [1] i podobno da się je zbudować. Obraz jest zaszyfrowany DES [2], ale klucz został złamany i jest znany ('97331723P02003'). DWR956 jest prawie identyczny i coś ktoś już z tym próbował robić [3] .

Tak czy siak z głównych rzeczy zostało jeszcze do rozkminienia PCI-E i ten bug z CRC. A z drobniejszych sterowanie LEDami od PHY i ewentualnie GPIO odcinające zasilanie USB(jeśli da się nim w ogóle sterować). Jakby się wszystko udało to by było świetnie smile

Mam w pudle płytę od dwr-966, tyle że ona pochodzi z telenora i dotarła do mnie już ze spalonym modemem. Na niej nie chodzi w ogóle ethernet.

Ostatnio trzeba trochę poczekać smile
Ale na razie bez PCI-e. Bo muszę tą zabawę odłożyć na jakiś czas. A ze sterownikiem do pci-e jest dużo roboty. Ten z Openwrt działa tylko dla pierwszej magistrali. Akurat do tej do której jest podpięte ASM1042.
No i wolałem to rozbić na mniejsze części, powinno być szybciej.

Powinno się dać, ale jeszcze na to nie patrzyłem, wiem tylko, że ten obraz jest zaszyfrowany, ale klucz jest znany.

W końcu wczoraj wieczorem wpadł mi do głowy pomysł jak obejść problem ze złym CRC bez podmiany uboota. Przeglądając źródła GPL okazało się, że jest dodatkowa komenda mc (memory check)[1], która weryfikuje CRC. Jest ona uruchamiana w main jeszcze przed bootcmd. W przypadku każdego niepowodzenia zbootowania inkrementacje part1_err, a gdy on osiągnie 3 to uruchamia 'run red_led'. Więc wystarczy podmienić red_led na bootowanie i normalnie śmiga: 

setenv red_led run flash_flash
saveenv

Problemem jest to, że rozmiar kernela jest zahardkodowany do 2M [2], więc u-boot ładuje sobie do ram 2M a liczy CRC z całego kernela (2.3M).
Później jest śmieszna weryfikacja "CRC" z rootfs, które jest liczone jako suma kolejnych bajtów xD, więc ją można łatwo pominąć licząc ją z zera bajtów:

$ setenv f_rootfs_datalen 0
$ setenv f_rootfs_crc 0
$ setenv part1_err 0
$ setenv part2_err 0
$ saveenv
$ saveenv

Ale bez tego drugiego też działa bo cały czas part1_err=3 i za każdym razem przechodzi do red_led.
