Temat: Asus RT-N56U - brak komunikacji

Witam, mam problem z podłączeniem się do routera, na którym chodził OpenWrt 18.06.1. Wyłączyłem DHCP na lan’ie i już nie mogę się podłączyć. Próbowałem przyciskiem reset zresetować do ustawień fabrycznych ale nie wiem czy się udało, gdyż router nie przypisuje mi adresu sieciowego. Ustawienie w kompie na sztywno adresu 192.168.1.11, też nie wpuszcza. Próbowałem w trybie recovery na nowo w wgrać oprogramowanie przez tftp ale nie ma z nim komunikacji mimo, iż dioda sygnalizuje, że router jest w trybie recovery. Lampki na lanie przy połączeniu z kompem migają. Skończyły mi się pomysły aby się z nim dogadać.

Czy jedynym sposobem jest na wgranie od nowa softu jest podłączenie się do serial portu na płycie głównej? Jak to zrobić? Ma ktoś jakiś pomysł?

Dioda zasilania miga jak wściekła, czyli failsafe działa ale na żadnym porcie nawet na WAN nie chce się putty podłączyć...

No oczywiście, już nawet na dwóch kompach sprawdzałem. Próbowałem również obydwu programowych sposobów ze strony: https://openwrt.org/toh/asus/rt-n56u#installation

Spokojnie jeszcze raz. Bo jeżeli się faktycznie nie uda to czeka cię lutowanie i kabel szeregowy.

Jestem spokojny ;-) ruter nie jest teraz na gwałt potrzebny ale żaden sposób na komunikację z urządzeniem nie przynosi rezultatów. Pierwotna instalacja openwrt przez tftp odbyła się bez problemów. Do tej pory chodził be zarzutów... aż nagle „coś mu się odkleiło”. Już nawet kabel zmieniałem. Jeśli chodzi o lutowanie to mamy jakiś tutek? Nigdy nie miałem aż tak hardcorowej sytuacji. Ale kiedyś musi być ten pierwszy raz.

Na wiki masz rozpiskę seriala. Szukasz na allegro cp2102, lutujesz gnd do gnd, tx płytki do rx konwertera, rx do tx, odpalasz putty, wybierasz serial i patrzysz co on wyczynia przy starcie. Choć jego recovery powinno nadal działać, bo to funkcja bootloadera jest.

A jakie było ostatnie ip tego routera?
Po za tym który próbujesz tryb ratunkowy uruchomić z openwrt czy Asusa?

Ostanie IP było 192.168.0.1 ale na ten adres router też nie odpowiada. Obydwa tryby restore działają:
- tryb Asusa to wolno migająca dioda power, tak jak jest opisane na openwrt.org
- tryb filesafe z openwrt to dioda power migająca jak szalona zgodnie z tym co napisał @Cezary
ale w żadnym trybie router nie chce współpracować. Diody przy portach lan mrygają ale komp nie widzi routera.

To spróbuj tryb Asusa recorvery i uruchom przeglądarkę na ip routera. Tam powinno pojawić się możliwość wgrania firmwaru.

No właśnie też nie znajduje. Nawet aplikacja Firmware Restoration wyswietla komunikat, że „nie znaleziono urządzenia w trybie odzyskiwania”.

Ja w moim Asusie RT-AC68U do tej pory nie udało mi się wgrać softu przez ten program (Chociaż w RT-N18U działał). Zawsze przez stronę CFE wgrywałem. Co ciekawe jak uruchamiałem tryb Recorvery to zawsze miałem IP z ostatnich ustawień. Np. ja używam 10.0.0.1 to takie router miał IP nawet w trybie Recovery. A zobacz bo może będzie DHCP działało w tym trybie. A reset do domyślnych ustawień nie działa? Jak jest przycisk WPS to najpierw wyłącz router, naciśnij WPS, załącz poczekaj z 30 sek.  Może pomoże.

Ten router ma tylko jeden przycisk „reset”, który przyciskałem na wiele różnych sposobów. Próbowałem też wszystkie adresy które mogłem kiedyś używać. Wydaje mi się, że ten model nie ma CFE, bo nigdy mi sie nie pojawił (nawet jak działał). Na RT-N18U faktycznie wyskakiwała taka strona przy uruchamianiu. Skończyły mi się już pomysły.

Podłączyłem się do routera przez konwerter i przy uruchamianiu putty pokazuje sama „krzaczki”. @Cezary czy konwerter jest do bani, czy coś źle podłączyłem, czy router do kosza?

Zobacz czy we właściwościach portu COM (Windows) masz ustawioną dobrą prędkość (115200) i w programie do łączenia (PuTTy) też masz to ustawione

I zobacz czy faktycznie dobrze podłączyłeś "masę". Ps prędkość ma być 57600 nie 115200, to jest mediatek.

Faktycznie. Zmieniłem prędkość domyślną z 9600 na 57600 i jest czytelnie. Widzę openwrt, wyczyściłem zmiany i niestety lany nie działają. Na co zwrócić uwagę, co sprawdzić?

Próbowałem włączyć wifi i połączyć się przez radio ale mimo włączenia sieci w powietrzu nie widać. Lampki elektrycznie przy gniazdku lan działają, komp widzi niezidentyfikowaną sieć ale połączyć się nie da. Nie wiem co jest nie tak...

Wygląda to sensownie, tym bardziej że nawet pokazuje podpięcie kabla. Nie strzelił w niego jakieś przepięcie?

Pisałeś że przez tftp też nie idzie, więc może spaliłeś porty?

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

itd? Weź zwolnij ręcznie dzierżawę dhcp w tym urządzeniu i podłącz go jeszcze raz. Sieć działa skoro dostał żądanie adresu.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

to chyba jakieś resztki po próbie podłączenia wana do drugiego routera, teraz na czysto wygląda tak:

Też miałem do czynienia z podobnym egzemplarzem z podobnymi objawami i jedyne co działało to port USB oraz WIFI na którym można było zrobić jedynie most bezprzewodowy, ale to żadne pocieszenie dla Ciebie.
