Temat: Vodafone 802 - OpenWRT AA, instalacja modemu HILINK (MF823)

OpenWRT docelowy postawiłem, więc jest nowy wątek smile Mam problem z inicjalizacją modemu MF823. Nie widzę konfliktów w logach, nawet widać, że coś wykrywa...

Profilaktycznie doinstalowałem: opkg install kmod-usb-core kmod-usb2 usb-modeswitch libusb-1.0

Ale w LUCI w konfiguracji WAN widzę tylko eth0 i wwan. Trzeba jakoś z palca wpisać USB? Jeśli tak to skąd mam wiedzieć które dokładnie. Any help?

Wrócilem do LEDE, poinstalowałem większość znanych mi sterowników do modemow, USB0 dalej brak. Co więcej - nie widzę, żeby cokolwiek się wywalało, modem wpięty. Czego brakuje żeby go odpalić?

Tak, masz rację. Doszedłem w końcu do tego jedną z komend którą podawałeś w jakimś wątku do pokazywania statusu urządzeń USB, z pamięci nie pamiętam.
Dziś powrót na AA, w BB i CC nie udało mi się ożywić WiFi... Próbowałem opcję z wiki dla bliźniaczego modelu 803A - bez skutku. Przy tutorialu ze sklejaniem plików wysiadłem a i tam się liczy wielkość obrazu która w 803A jest inna - a lutowałem R80 już zbyt wiele razy.. więc nie próbuję, AA może być o ile wszystko zadziała...  smile

Z tym, że w AA też instalowałem większość sterowników i nie miałem /dev/USB... ani nic w logach co by wskazywało na uruchomienie modemu - próbowałem 2 różne HiLinki: ZTE823 i Huawei E3351.

Choć wiem gdzie mogłem zrobić błąd. Nie wiedziałem, że za każdym restartem routera trzeba jak później (na LEDE) zauważyłem zrobić najpierw "opkg update". Myślałem, że jak raz zrobię - system to gdzieś zcachuje a wydaje mi się, że nie i dlatego prawdopodobnie nie zainstalowałem wszystkich sterowników... pisało, że ich nie ma a mogło zabraknąć tylko "opkg update". Zmyliła mnie podobna komenda z linuxa "apt-get update" z tego wyniki są pamiętane i wystarczy wywołać raz na jakiś czas.

eth0 chyba bez znaczenia bo to jest wbudowana karta w routerze. Konfig nie jest dopracowany, jest oryginalny, ustawiłem tylko wifi + lan.

Problem w tym, że nie. Być może jakieś sterowniki robią konflikt. Sterowników nie konfigurowałem bo nie znam się na tym. Tylko instalowałem jak popadło. Dodam, że MF823 to HiLink - nie wiem czy wszystkie są tego typu.

Nie ma nic nowego niż było przed instalacją modemu. Patrzyłem tam, prześlę jak siąde do komputera. Mogę przełączyć na tryb modemu, ale nie wiem czy to da się cofnąć więc nie próbuje.

zresetowałem urządzenie, wsadziłem modem Huaweii 3372 Hilink - pojawiło się eth1 oraz USB0, wsadziłem z powrotem modem ZTE MF823 - tym razem z kartą NJU (mój główny internet) zamiast Aero2 restart.

Jesteśmy w domu. USB0 się pojawiło smile jeszcze nie mogę odpalić samego internetu, ale myślę, że sobie poradzę - jeśli nie to na pewno się odezwę.

Pozostał tylko problem z wszystkimi świecącymi LEDami na fronce routera. W BB i CC gasły - niestety tam był problem albo z USB albo z Wifi.
Może ktoś będzie wiedział jak je skonfigurować lub wyłączyć.... Dzięki Cezary!

Obsługę ledów znalazłem w luci.
Jeśli chodzi o sam modem... fakt uruchomiłem go, ale po przesłaniu pierwszych 40kB transfer się zawiesił (!). Żaden restart nie pomaga. Albo ja jestem za głupi na ten router albo jest on strasznie problematyczny. Dziś minie tydzień jak zacząłem wgrywać (wieczorami) do niego OpenWrt. Konfiguracja posiadanego TPLinka (3220v2) zajęła mi niegdyś.. chyba kilka/naście minut.

Odinstalowałem pakiety od modemu, dziś restart OpenWRT do ustawień fabrycznych i później ostatnie podejście. Następnie allegro lub kosz. Mam powoli dość...
