Dystrybucja to Debian Stretch (testing). Myślisz, że w innych dystrybucjach może być lepiej? Kernel się nie wywalił, bo system działa tylko jakoś koślawo. Na poprzedniej karcie Intel DualBand 3160 AC było trochę lepiej, bo leciało ok. 10-12 MB/s. Myślałem, że Atherosy lepiej sobie radzą, ale jak na razie ten mój szaleje tylko pod Windowsem.

Witam, po dłuższej przerwie w temacie. Problem zgłoszony jednak bez odzewu.

Wziąłem się więc sam do roboty. Sukces odniesiony połowicznie, gdyż udało mi się usunąć errory, więc teoretycznie firmware się ładuje.

Dokonałem weryfikacji błędów, metodą prób i błędów:

1) zrobiłem kopie - ath10k/QCA6174/board.bin --> ath10k/pre-cal-pci-0000:02:000.bin
2) zrobiłem kopie - ath10k/QCA6174/board-2.bin --> ath10k/cal-pci-0000:02:000.bin

Teraz zauważyłem jeszcze coś takiego:

Nie wiem co to oznacza i co z tym począć. Załadowany firmware nie przyczynił się do wzrostu szybkości transferu po Sambie. Czemu?

Rozwiązałem problem połowicznie. Otóż co się okazało transfery po FTP są 10x większe czyli ok. 40-50 MB/s.

Nie wiem czemu po Sambie tak wolno leci za pośrednictwem karty Wi-Fi. Po podłączeniu komputera kablem do routera transfer za pośrednictwem SMB jest w porządku. Na Windowsie przez SMB również jest dobrze. Jedynie na Linuksie coś się krzaczy.

Do tej pory myślałem, że to wina firmware do karty, ale jednak nie skoro po FTP transfery mogą być przyzwoite. Ktoś miał podobny problem? Bo googlując wyszukałem najczęściej porady dla serwerów Samby uruchamianych na komputerach, a nie w odniesieniu do protokołu przesyłania plików pomiędzy komputerem, a NAS.

Dodałem sobie dwie zakładki to Nautilusa (jedna to montowanie przez SMB - do oglądania multimediów oraz drugą FTP - do szybkiego kopiowania). Rozwiązanie naokoło, ale jeśli działa i nikt nie ma lepszego pomysłu to musi wystarczyć :)
