Temat: Pomocy - TP-Link MR3420v2 + modem Huawei e3373 + mało pamięci

Panowie, witam wszystkich na tym szacownym forum, jako, że to mój pierwszy post.

Przechodząc do rzeczy, posiadam router TP-Link MR-3420v2
oraz modem Huawei 3373 HiLink.

Zainstalowałem OpenWRT najnowsze z ich strony, to z LuCi.
Doinstalowałem co potrzeba, aby działał modem.

Chciałem jeszcze postawić klienta OpenVPN, aby wszystko z routera szło przez modem tunelem VPN do usługodawcy VPN.
Niestety, na modemie zabrakło miejsca.
Jako, że modem ma fajny slocik na kartę MicroSD, pomyślałem o exRoocie. Próbowałem tutoriali ze strony OpenWRT.

Niestety, za mało miejsca. Albo sterowniki modemu się mieszczą, a obsługa zewnętrznych systemów plików już nie,
albo, na czystej instalce, próbowałem przez otwarte WiFi (mam takie w sąsiedztwie) bez obsługi modemu zrobić exRoota z tutoriali. To samo, za mało miejsca.

Nie wiem, jak sobie z tym poradzić. Po zainstalowaniu sterowników do modemu na /overlay zostaje mi 172kB wolnego miejsca.

Może jest jakaś dystrybucja która jest mniejsza, albo jest jakiś sposób na exRoota, żeby opkg nie instalował tylu zależnych pakietów? Na 2GB zewnętrznej karty chyba by spokojnie wystarczyło miejsca na OpenVPN i sterowniki do Huaweia.

Mogę kartę sformatować w innym urządzeniu pod Linuxem na jakikolwiek system plików.

Czyli jednym słowem jest jakaś szansa bez wymiany kości.
Wielkie dzięki za szybką odpowiedź!

Czy mógłbyś jeszcze podać mi jak połączyć się z otwartą WiFi przez terminal tak bym mógł dociągać pakiety opkg?
W LuCi nie jest to trudne, mam trochę obeznania w Linuxie, ale interfejs uci jest inny. Jest jakiś tutorial?

No i gdybym jednak chciał wgrać inne firmware, jak przez terminal SSH załadować obraz do routera? Przez WWW wybieram plik i klikam firmware upgrade.

Gdyby było parę tutoriali do tego byłoby miło.
Zabiorę się do tego za tydzień, na razie pozbieram dokumentację.

No i przyszedł czas by zmierzyć się z zadaniem.
Firmware zainstalował się ok, ale nijak nie mogę połączyć się z otwartą WiFi.
Robiłem wg tutoriali ze strony OpenWRT Wiki.

Moje połączenie wygląda na razie (przed extrootem) tak:

Blaszak z którego łączę się z routerem -> router -> Otwarta WiFi z której chcę pociągnąć pakiety OPKG by zrobić extroota.

Później będzie sieć WiFi -> router -> modem LTE

Nie wiem, co robię źle.

Nie wiem co mam robić, z LuCi połączenie z moją WiFi nie było trudne (mam do wyboru, albo otwartą na 7. kanale, ale słabą, albo komókę androidową z hotspotem.
Przykłady z Wiki OpenWRT są dziwne conajmniej, albo router mnie nie słucha.

Key jest za krótki jak na psk2. Chyba że nie jest prawdziwy. Reszta wygląda sensownie. Napisałeś - "otwarta sieć" a ustawiłeś hasło. Więc jest otwarta czy nie?

Zresetuj router, zaloguj się przez ssh i pokaż wynik poleceń:

Nie łączy się, masz zera na wszystkich licznikach.

Wystaw go za okno smile lub zeskanuj sobie otoczenie (iwinfo wlan0 scan) i zobacz jaką w ogóle siłę sygnału masz. Do skanowania możliwe że będziesz musiał wrócić do trybu ap.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

No ale kawiarenka jest pode mną, tj. ja jestem na pierwszym piętrze, a kawiarnia jest na parterze. Nie mogę przesunąć routera, bo nie dosięgnę kablem do blaszaka.

A nie mogę użyć hotspota z komórki?

Tym bardziej, że na LuCi działało to wszystko, wystarczyło w GUI dać wifi scan, potem wybrać sieć i join network.
Działało zarówno z Bliklem jak i z moją komórką.

A może jakiś bridge powinienem ustawić, albo dhcp gdzieś aby pobierał z tego wifi?

Kurczę. Udało mi się zrobić extroota, mam 1.8 GB na /overlay.
Router po takim zabiegu nie ma nic, tj. wszystkie ustawienia są wyzerowane.
Ustawiłem mu znowu WiFi, doinstalowałem pakiety usb-modeswitch, kmod-mii, cdc-ether, ale
Kernel zgłasza informację z cdc-ether, ale bez oznaczenia eth, nie ma tam nic o eth2.
Co robić, jak żyć? smile

Dziwne. Zastanowiło mnie, dlaczego sterowniki w kernelu są, a modem jest tylko jako hub i usbstorage.

Ale dlaczego musiałem po reboocie znowu zrobić install usb-modeswitch?

Chcę edytować /etc/config/network...

Ale mógłbyś trochę bardziej mnie naprowadzić? Coś pominąłem w konfiguracji? Robiłem dokładnie tak jak na tutorialach.

Nie wiem co robię źle.
Wchodzę w failsafe. Mam wpięty modem, system plików widoczny bez extroot.
Robię extroot, co działa, bo zarówno banner jak i df mówią o tym.
Instaluję moduły do 3G i widzę komunikat CDC,  bez oznaczenia interfejsu.
Nie mam usb-modeswitch. Instalacja tego pakietu powoduje rozwalenie systemu plików. Co z tego, że pojawia się informacja o eth2 przy CDC, jak nie mam plików w systemie.
Polecenie block info powoduje wyświetlenie informacji o /dev/sdb1 a nie /dev/sda1.
