Temat: problem z simplefailover

chciałbym powrócić do męczącego mnie simplefailover. mam sytuację, w której wydanie poleceń:

ifdown wan
ifup aero2

oraz

ifdown aero2
ifup wan

po prostu działa bez problemu i to bez względu na używany sterownik: wwan lub 3g. strony się otwierają, ssh działa itp.

problem pojawia się przy uruchomieniu simplefailover. po odłączeniu przewodu od portu wan simplefailover uruchamia modem. przepuszczanych jest tylko 5-7 pakietów ping w chwili odnowienia połączenia między komputerem a ruterem, po czym następuje tzw. "zwis". wszelkie istniejące sesje ssh z komputera do rutera "zamarzają", nie można wykonać pingów ze stacjonarki, strony się nie otwierają. po podłączeniu przewodu do gniazda wan simplefailower ładnie przełącza na wan i następuje "odwis", sesje odżywają, przeglądarka ładuje strony.

w scenariuszu gdy sam włączam/wyłączam interfejsy taka sytuacja nie ma miejsca: wszystko po prostu działa jak tego oczekiwałbym.

od czego zacząć diagnozę? męczy mnie to okropnie bo chciałbym przysłowiowo ustawić i zapomnieć ale nie mogę sobie z tym poradzić.

Odp: problem z simplefailover

Czy jak zrobisz ifdown wan to nadal masz interfejs od adsl podniesiony? Jeżeli nie to simplefailover nie zadziała tak, tak samo jak nie działa dla pppoe.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

w ogóle nie używam adsl. przewód od dostawcy (vectra) to koncentryk włączany do ich modemu. z modemu do rutera idzie już skrętka. jak robię ifconfig podczas normalnej pracy (tj. wan up, aero2 down) to otrzymuję:

wlan0 [...]

po zrobieniu ifdown wan znika eth0.2, po zrobieniu ifup aero2 pojawia się dodatkowo wwan-aero2 (albo 3g-aero2 w zależności od sterownika).

jak mogę sprawdzić stan adsl, o którym wspominasz?

Zostaw tak jak jest, wyłącz z autostartu simplefailover i uruchom go jako

sh -x /usr/bin/simplefailover

i zobacz co wypisuje jak odłączysz kabel od wanu.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

W sumie źle bo nie potrafi trasy do 8.8.4.4 ustawić. Ale coś tam działa bo później przełącza znów. Problem z blokowaniem masz gdzieś w innym miejscu.

Cezary, dzięki za pomoc.. masz może jakiś pomysł gdzie i jak szukać przyczyny poza ruterem albo tego, że nie potrafi ustawić trasy do 8.8.4.4? używam linux mint.

podałem tę informację, aby wskazać, że używam tego systemu. gdybyś miał jakieś sugestie odnośnie dalszej diagnostyki na komputerze podłączonym od rutera to może wskazałbyś mi odpowiednie polecenia linuxa a nie na przykład windowsowe. tylko dlatego smile
