Tak, konwerter szeregowy. Jeszcze zależy który to 740, bo niektóre wersje musisz lutować żeby w ogóle dostać się do seriala a jest tak to małe czasami szkoda zachodu.

Podczas ładowania po tftp pomyliłeś się, wpisałeś:
tftpboot 0x80000000 code.bin
A powinieneś:
tftpboot 0x81000000 code.bin
skoro później zapisujesz do flash spod 0x81000000
Zrób jeszcze raz poprawnie.
