wgrałem na niego openwrt wg. wskazówek wiki. użyłem plików z dropboxa, które podał Scotch w ww. wątku. po zalogowaniu do luci widzę interfejs WiFi:

hahaha! pomyślałem, że może chodzi o wolne miejsce. usunąłem chyba niepotrzebny dla tego modelu F1 plik RT3092.eeprom, wgrałem jeszcze raz RT3062.eeprom, restart i .... bingo! widać wifi! dzięki Cezary! nie wiem co tam trzeba zmienić w obrazach ale ta sztuczka zadziałała.

nie wiem Cezary o co może chodzić, ale tak jak widać po restarcie zmienia się wielkość pliku z 512 na 0. usunięcie niepotrzebnego eeproma o takim samym rozmiarze i ponowne wgranie właściwego eeproma zadziałało.

This file needs to be placed in /lib/firmware folder after flashing, RT3062.eeprom for P2812HNU-F1 and RT3092.eeprom for P2812HNU-F3, without this file wireless will work in 150Mbps mode.

Firmware z dropboxa prawdopodobnie w /lib/firmware miał 'RT2860.eeprom' - stąd widoczne wifi, ale jak piszą z ograniczeniem do 150Mbps. Natomiast u Cezarego zabrakło obu - rezultat kompletny brak wifi

Wiem natomiast, że możliwa jest koegzystencja RT3092.eeprom i RT2860.eeprom w przypadku F3 - muszę sprawdzić, czy poprawia to stabilność WiFi.

ja po prostu wielu rzeczy nie rozumiem smile jestem zafascynowany openwrt, miałem jedno podejście 2 lata temu, ale splot czynników doprowadził do tego, że się zniechęciłem. zaczynam jeszcze raz, a że calibration data jest potrzebne to czytałem, ale do głowy mi nie przyszło, że czegoś może brakować w obrazach od Cezarego. poza tym jak się wgrało to i tak po restarcie coś się dzieje dziwnego i zostaje plik o rozmiarze 0. mam nadzieję, że z czasem nauczę się kojarzyć fakty i weryfikować "oczywistości" smile

Myślę, że nawet gdybyś miał ten model, to przy tej ilości routerów (dla których udostępniasz firmware) jest fizyczną niemożliwością sprawdzenie każdego - od tego są użytkownicy!!!
Każdy doskonale to rozumie, a nasze wpisy potraktuj z przymrużeniem oka wink
Poza tym (jak już nieraz pisałem) zapewniasz najlepszy i natychmiastowy support (co sprawdziło się po raz kolejny).

Zrobiłem i zaktualizowałem obrazy dla  P2812:
- dodałem firmware RT3062.eeprom do obrazów ZyXEL P-2812HNU-Fx
- dodałem obrazy initramfs dla ZyXEL P-2812HNU-Fx
- dodałem pliki z uboot dla ZyXEL P-2812HNU-Fx

Pliki z ubootem mają takie nazwy jak wychodzą z OpenWrt. Na F3 obraz testowałem, działa (łączenie w wifi smile), na F1 niech ktoś przetestuje.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

wgrałem luci-lantiq-xrx200-P2812HNUF1-squashfs-sysupgrade.tar. jest dobrze smile będę testował dalej i oczywiście powiadomię jak coś zauważę, ale wifi jest i można się połączyć (łączy się nawet z antenami odłączonymi od płyty!) smile

czy dobrze rozumiem, że:
a) zazwyczaj upgrade przez sysupgrade lub z poziomu luci wgrywając plik *sysupgrade.tar, który zawiera zarówno kernela, ramdysk jak i właściwy firmware
b) uImage to kernel gdyby ktoś chciał podmienić sobie tylko kernel
c) uImage-initramfs to ramdysk potrzebny kernelowi na początek

kiedy ładować squashfs a kiedy ubifs? czytałem to:

Obraz jffs czy squashfs?
Jeżeli zadałeś takie pytanie to stanowczo wybierz ten ze squashfs. Dlaczego? Chociaż by dlatego że jak popsujesz coś w ustawieniach to będziesz mógł wrócić do stanu pierwotnego uruchamiając tzw. tryb failsafe. Później doczytasz czym się te dwa typy systemów plików różnią i jak są zbudowane obrazy OpenWrt.

ale nie jest dla mnie kiedy ubifs a kiedy squashfs? z chcęcią wgrałbym oba do testów, ale nie wiem czy gdy mam squashfs to mogę wgrać ubifs.

Odp: P2812HNU-Fx WiFi zniknęło w CC

ubifs powoduje że cały system plików jest zapisywalny, tak jak byś extX zrobić. Ubifs robi się na pamięciach nand. Oczywiście ma też to jedną "wadę" - jak coś zepsujesz do zmiany są bezapelacyjnie wprowadzone i nie masz trybu awaryjnego, jak normalnie w komputerze. Usunięcie czy zmiana pliku to usunięcie czy zmiana, nie jest odkładane gdzieś w /overlay bo tego tu nie ma.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.
