To zależy. Jak będziesz miał dobry zasięg i brak jakiś przeszkód/zakłóceń to możesz nie potrzebować. Jak będzie się rozłączał, brak zasięgu, niskie transfery, router będzie się nagrzewał (!) to potrzebujesz dodatkowe źródło zasilania.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

Witam

Udało mi się po wielu próbach w końcu odpalić modem Huawei E3276s-150 na routerze TL-WDR3600 Ver. 1.1, zgodnie z instrukcją http://eko.one.pl/forum/viewtopic.php?id=7236. Zaznaczyłem też opcję „Monitor połączenia”, dodam że pracuję na najnowszej wersji Gargoyle: 1.6.0.4 (r39952), a usługa internetu jest świadczona przez Polsat LTE.

Dane szczegółowe modemu:
Wersja oprogramowania: 23.009.11.02.618
Wersja sterownika: 4.25.16.00
Wersja oprogramowania układowego: 21.260.05.00.618

Problem w tym że połączenie z internetem następuje po bardzo długim czasie od restartu routera, a interfejs WAN zanika w początkowym okresie uruchamiania, nie daje się wskazać opcji: ttyUSB0.

Dodatkowo w logach systemowych pokazują dość nietypowe wpisy, min. „No WPA/RSN IE in association request”, „Interface 'wan' is now down”, o niemożności nawiązania połączenia, itd. szczegóły poniżej.

Myślę że trzeba było by ten mechanizm jeszcze trochę dopracować, bo na poprzednim modemie (Huawei E398U-1) dużo prościej mi się pracowało.

Tak więc jest prośba do Cezarego, o zwrócenie swego oka Saurona na ten temat, może coś tu da się poprawić. W trakcie testów modemu, przećwiczyłem też OpenWRT GUI Of Modems and Men: http://ofmodemsandmen.com/supported.html. I muszę stwierdzić że tam połączenie następuje w szybszym tępię niż tu, tak więc jest to chyba możliwe do zrobienia, przy czym sam ten GUI jest dość mało intuicyjny i toporny w obsłudze, więc z niego zrezygnowałem.

OK, będę wdzięczny za jakieś info od Cezarego w opisanym temacie.

Niestety nie jest dobrze, po włączeniu routera (po wcześniejszym odłączeniu go od zasilania) internet najczęściej nie jest w stanie samoczynnie się podnieść, a proces ponowienia połączenia po jego zerwaniu trwa kilka minut, i czasami bez ręcznego popchnięcia też nie startuje sad

Rozważam powrót do starego modemu Huawei E398U-1. Jednak ciągle mam nadzieję, że z tym nowym też coś da się jeszcze zrobić. Szansa chyba jest, bo po podłączeniu bezpośrednio do komputera modem startuje szybko i raczej nie zdarza się aby zrywał połączenie.

Proszę o pomoc - nie wiem czemu parametry połączenia przez router mam 2x gorsze niż bezpośrednio na kompie:
1. TL-WR1043ND v1 + dzisiejszy gargoyle (z wcześniejszymi wydaniami nie testowałem) + hub aktywny + tytułowy e3276: ping ~40 ms, DL ~10 Mb/s
2. modem podpięty bezpośrednio do komputera: ping 16-20ms, DL ~20 Mb/s
W obu przypadkach siła sygnału -83dBm, LTE Orange, NDIS.

Moc obliczeniowa routera może też mieć wpływ na ping, gdy lecą tylko pojedyncze pakiety? W top nie widać jakiegoś znacznego obciążenia procesora podczas połączenia, także podczas max. transferu.
Zauważyłem jeszcze jedną rzecz. Gdy pobieram coś z Internetu przez router to transfer co jakiś czas zanika na 2-3 sekundy, a dokładniej "zamraża się" cały router, tzn. staje ssh i wykresy na www się przez tą chwilę nie odświeżają.

Kilka rzeczy masz do poprawienia: 1)podstawa za słaby router (może być nawet z tym samym CPU, lecz z min. 64MB RAM-wersja 2 1043ND jest optymalnym wyborem przy czystym otoczeniu WiFi w 2,4GHz i zaopatrzony jesteś już w aktywny HUB USB), 2) poziom sygnału masz zbyt niski, w perspektywie użytkowania przez większą liczbę abonentów będą problemy ze stabilnością-wskazany do -70dB, przy wartościach -70-90dB może to działać w miarę stabilnie przy ograniczeniu np. do 15Mbps jakie stosuje P4, 3)co do wysokości "ping"-w moim przykładowym zastosowaniu QMI/E398/sygnał -53dB/LTE iPlus nie wpływa zastosowanie routera (DIR-505) na wysokość pingu, lecz np. z jakiej puli otrzymujemy adres zewnętrzny IP: z 46… mam niższy ping o ok. 10ms od tych zaczynających się na 5. Teraz jestem w trakcie testu modemo-routera Huawei B593 s-22 i co ciekawe na nim ping jest wyższy o 5-10ms, download jest identyczny jak na E398, za to upload osiąga prędkości max. (w realu miałem już 49,22Mbps), tak wyglądają pingi wyciągnięte life z zewnętrznego logowania

Przeniosłem się w miejsce, gdzie mam -67dBm w technologii DC-HSPA+, no i tu łącze podczas transferu "rwie się" jeszcze bardziej - przejdzie paczka danych, kilka sekund zwiechy, kolejna paczka i znowu kilka sekund zwiechy itd. Zajrzałem do logów, a tam pełno takich warnów:

Dziękuję Panowie, rozglądam się w takim razie za mocniejszym routerem smile

Dodam jeszcze, że kombinowałem z wyłączaniem wszystkich niepotrzebnych usług (z htttpd gargoyle włącznie) aby zwolnić jak najwięcej pamięci, ale pozytywny skutek przynosi tylko wyłączenie wifi i korzystanie przez kabel eth. Wtedy router nie dostaje zadyszki i bez problemu wyciąga te 20 Mb/s, które mam po podłączeniu modemu bezpośrednio do komputera. Niestety ping ciągle pozostaje w okolicy 40ms...

Zrobiłem jeszcze RAM-mod (akurat trafił mi się odpowiedni moduł z laptopa) i teraz prędkość jest taka (domyślne usługi włączone, także wifi, dodatkowo n2n):

Nie ma już błędów w logach, a podczas transferu procesor ma ok 65% idle i router już nie "zamula".
Nadal jednak ping jest 2x większy (35-40 ms, także przy pingowaniu z poziomu routera przez ssh) niż przy modemie podłączonym do komputera (16-20 ms).
Na innych routerach pod OpenWRT też tak jest, czy to przypadłość tylko tego modelu (lub mojego egzemplarza)?

Mam E398 i Huawei B593 s-22 (E398-uruchamiam na DIR-505/NDIS QMI pod Gargoyle), różnic na nich nie widać za specjalnie, jak już to jest bardziej zależne od adresu z jakiej puli przydzieliła mi sieć, niewielkie wahnięcia i E398 wypada troszkę lepiej. smile

Dorwałem na testy router LTE Huawei B593s-22 oraz kupiłem sobie mocniejszy router pod OpenWRT - WD MyNet N600, na którego wgrałem Gargoyle Cezarego. Na routerze Huaweia pingi są ok. 20 ms, a WD współpracujący z modemem E3276 zachowuje się identycznie jak WR1043ND, czyli pingi nie schodzą poniżej 35 ms.

@jarek7714 - mamy więc wspólny punkt odniesienia, tzn. B593s-22.  U Ciebie między nim a OpenWRT z modemem QMI nie ma znacznej różnicy, u mnie między nim a OpenWRT z modemem NCM różnica jest. Podejrzewam więc, że przyczyna leży właśnie w tym sterowniku modemu...
Jutro spróbuję jeszcze przełączyć modem w tryb RAS i zobaczę czy to coś da.

Nie sądzę aby było lepiej-nie wiem jaką osiągasz prędkość, lecz u mnie przy RAS  download zamula co najmniej x2 a upload x4. Skoro przy sterowniku NCM istotnym czynnikiem jest pamięć RAM, to może być to kwestia szybkości tych pamięci-router/komputer.  smile

Panowie mam problem E3276 rozmawia z moim 3220v2 wgrany obraz PL, konfiguracja wszystko jest okej po podlączeniu wydaje komende ifup wan lączy na 6-7 sekund pobiera ip dnsy i rozłącza, na stockowym działa ten modem aż miło a tu takie cyrki.

Przy podłączeniu do komputera modem działa. Tyle że jeżeli przekroczona jest bariera 100 Mbit/s to modem się restartuje i za chwilę jest znowu wykrywalny. Pomaga aktywny HUB.
Problem jest przy Gargyole. Używam aktywnego huba także przy podłączeniu do rutera.
Huawei E3276 z firmware najnowszym E3276s_Update_21.436.03.00.00. Wersja nie-hilinkowa.
TP-Link WR1043 ND v2 + najnowsze Garygoole ze strony Cezarego.
Postępuję jak na stronie czyli dla trybu NDIS + włączam monitor połączenia ale nie mogę się połączyć http://eko.one.pl/forum/viewtopic.php?id=7236
Operator Plus LTE. LTE jest na moim terenie.

Dodam że inny modem Huawei E398 działa bez zająknięcia nawet bez aktywnego HUBa.

Tych 110Mbps to nie osiągniesz na tym routerze, lecz 80 powinien wyciągnąć w standardzie (Dir-505 z E398 wyciągał mi do 60Mbps z dobrym HUB-em). Teraz E398 bezpośrednio z USB WDR3600 wyciąga http://www.speedtest.net/result/3715991243.png -download w tej chwili ogranicza obciążenie sieci a upload, brak prądu na USB (HUB potrzebny od zaraz), pingi identyczne jak bezpośrednio na MBP.
