Po przewalczeniu pproblemów z instalacją Kamikaze (dzięki za pomoc Cezary), ctorrenta i Samby zabawiłem się z kamerą.

Idzie w zasadzie wszystko dobrze tzn. po dmesg mam

spca_core.c: USB SPCA5XX camera found. Type Creative Instant P0620

a parę linii wyżej też:

spca_core.c: spca5xx driver 00.57.08LE registered

do momentu testów.

po uruchomieniu (w /tmp ) komendą:

spcacat -d /dev/video0 -g -f jpg -o -p 1 -N 1 &

otrzymuję co następuje:
