Temat: Rozłączanie połączenia PPPOE

Od jakiegoś czasu mam problem ze zrywanym połączeniem PPPOE. Internet mam z dialogu, router wdr4300 z najnowszym gargoyle na pokładzie.

Jeżeli to tylko lcp echo to możesz to w /etc/ppp zwiększyć.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

A teraz dwa pytania (tak, jestem zielony w tych kwestiach...)
1. Czy da się to zrobić z poziomu interfejsu webowego?
2. Domyślam się, że odpowiedź na pytanie 1. brzmi "nie", więc... Czy znajdę gdzieś do tego instrukcję krok po kroku?

1. nie smile
2. /etc/ppp/options lcp-echo-failure i lcp-echo-interval zwiększ. Choć to oczywiście nie rozwiązanie problemu a panaceum i mydlenie oczu.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

No dobra, zmieniłem wartości na takie:

lcp-echo-failure 20
lcp-echo-interval 3000


... i nadal rozłącza. Rzadziej, ale rozłącza, zdarza się też "zamulanie" internetu. Czy to wina po stronie routera? Podłączałem testowo komputer bezpośrednio pod modem i wszystko hulało:/

Na pewno zmieniłeś i zrestartowałeś? Bo nadal w logu masz że po 3 echo przestał odpowiadać. Nie ustawiłeś tego w konfigu na sztywno?

Hmmm....

w interfejsie graficznym jest opcja "Liczba błędnych pingów przed ponownym połączeniem" i "Czas pomiędzy pingami (sek.)" - zmieniłem pierwsza wartość na 10, drugą na 8, zobaczymy czy to przyniesie jakiś efekt.

Ja dosyć dawno temu z takim problemem walczyłem i w moim przypadku też pomogła dopiero zmiana tych ustawień.
Ja mam tak:
Liczba błędnych pingów przed ponownym połączeniem - 18
Czas pomiędzy pingami - 5.
