Po pierwsze chciałbym się przywitać jako zarejestrowany użytkownik forum tongue zatem:
Dzień dobry, witam i w ogóle...

Z fachowym pytaniem - mam router TL-WR1043ND w wersji 1.8, chciałbym wymienić flash z 8MB na 16MB, i teraz czy muszę mieć jakąś specjalną wersję uBoot-a i Gargulca, czy wystarczy że przerzucę odpowiednio pierwsze 128kB i ostatnie 64kB ?

Oryginalna wersja U-Boot od TP-Linka nie rozpoznaje... ma zaszyty rozmiar na stałe więc w konsoli U-Boot nadal będziesz miał dostęp tylko do 8 MB.

Przyszedł czas na wymiane kości i przyszedł oczywiście czas na problemy...

Skeiłem odpowiednio pliki obrazu pamięci: uboot + gargoyle_factory + "dodatkowe miejsce" + art . Oczywiście art od końca a "dodatkowe miejsce" do róznica miedzy kościa 8MB a 16MB. Taki wsad wgrałem programatorem do kostki i wlutowałem do routera, ten wystartował, ale.... strona logowania pojawia się po angielsku, pola z danymi typu adres mac i adresy IP z dzierżawy są puste, a log z konsoli wyglada tak:

Co mogłem zrobić źle...? Nowa kostka to FL128SAIF01 Spansiona.

Ty nic, choć system nie może skasować bloków pamięci z jakiegoś powodu.

Masz interfejs szeregowy. Wejdź do bootloadera i skasuj cały wolny obszar pomiędzy ubootem a artem. I zobacz czy się uda ta sztuka.

Ostatnia komenda jaka działa to "erase 0xbf020000 +0x7e0000" czyli bootloader działa jak mozna było przewidziec, jak dla kostki 8 MB a nie 16MB, wyższe adresy oczywiście:

Ale to przynajmniej potwierdza że to nie jest wina samej kostki skoro zapis/odczyt z poziomu bootloadera działa.

Do pierwszej połowy. Dalej nie sprawdziłeś a system też nie potrafi systemu plików tak utworzyć.

1. Wgraj system przez bootloader jeszcze raz.
2. W ostateczności - możesz ją wylutować jeszcze raz i zobaczyć na programatorze czy da się całą skasować i odczytać.

Wgrałem system przez bootloader. Rezultat taki sam....

Na programatorze bez problemu czyta, kasuje, zapisuje...

Znowu punkt wyjścia.

Zrobiłem taki myk: zamiast kostki FL128SAIF01 użyłem FL127SIF10. Na PCB routera jest możliwość wlutowania pamięci w obudowach 8 i 16 nóżek. Zaprogramowałem kostkę samym ubootem, narazie bez arta, a gargulca wgrałem przez bootloadera i... działa, oczywiscie narazie bez wifi, ale po wgraniu arta wifi będzie działać.

Wnioskując, czyli jednak wina kostki.
