Temat: DVB-usb problems with tutorial

Hello!

I'm from Austria and I would really love to have my usb-dvb-t dongle working on my WNDr3700v2

I used the firmware from http://ecco.selfip.net/attitude_adjustment/ar71xx/
and follwed this tutorial: http://eko.one.pl/?p=openwrt-dvb

and now I'm stuck at installing the usb-dvb modules:

I've come to this point with Barrier Breaker and official AA too, but even switching to this forum's firmware didn't solved the problem for me hmm is the module broken?

Install kmod-input-core and kmod-ir-code first (if you use my firmware and repo).

I just tried it too often with Barrier Breaker and AA official that i missed the first point now tongue

thanks! now this step is working, the module seems to be perfectly fine!

I can't see any line like

My Stick has the Vendor and ID 1660:1921, which refers to dvb-usb-dib0700.ko

ive downloaded and insmodded following:

ah, i had the wrong dib0700 loaded big_smile
loaded again using insmod dvb-usb-dib0700.ko instead insmod dvb_usb_dibusb_common

and now it's showing up...

All is working fine now, the only problem left:

tvheadend doesn't find any channels in Austria hmm
I had 3 channels as i tried the stick in Ubuntu...

i select DiBcom 7000pc and when i select Add DVB Network by location...    i select Austria/at_official and it scanned 20 channels...
-> found 0

now I've done something stupid again and my DVB Network by Location list is gone hmm
edit: removed /etc/tvheadend/ and reinstalled package, now i got the list back
but still no channels...

i always have to select DiBcom 7000pc in "Tv Adapters", seems wrong?

with QAM-16
FEC 3/4 Transmission 8k
Guard 1/4
Network ID 8232

(read these settings from the channels saved in Kaffeine - Ubuntu where i tested the stick...)

is there some debugging tool for tvheadend?

ok tested the stick again in ubuntu, switched back to router and now it found 4 services smile
this is weird, i rebooted like 5 times for sure before...

how do i play them though?

i installed the mozilla-plugin-for-vlc and its displaying a player, but it stays black...
