Temat: Identyfikacja sprzętu

Dzień dobry, właśnie stałem się posiadaczem urządzenia typu WiFi range extender, i chciałem wgrać do niego OpenWRT. Niestety urządzenie jest "no_name", Nazywa się po prostu WIRELESS REPEATER, a na płycie głównej jedyne oznaczenie to V1.1. Urządzenie ma układy MT7628 i MT7612, Działać działa , ale z doświadczenia wiem że z OpenWRT działa lepiej. Czy ktoś kojarzy ten sprzęt, jest dużo różnych softów z MT7628. Który będzie najodpowiedniejszy. Wyszukiwanie w Google tylko pokazuje że to płyta routera, ale bez szczegółów.(chciałem wrzucić obrazek płyty tego urządzenia, ale coś mi nie wychodzi , lub nie potrafię)
Czy można urządzenie jakoś odpytać o nazwę ?

Najlepiej byłoby się podłączyć serialem i zobaczyć co konsola mówi.

Serial, sprawdź komunikaty startowe. Może to klon jakiegoś urządzenia.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

Podłączyłem się do pinów TX, RX interfejsem USB ( na FTDI232, z innymi urządzeniami ten interfejs działa prawidłowo ), oczywiście chińczyk w opisie pinów na PCB zamienił VCC z GND. Ale niezależnie od ustawionej prędkości odbierane są krzaki , czasem wpadnie jakaś literka ale całość jest bez sensu,( choć urządzenie działa, uruchamia się w trybie repeater ) czy w routerach ustawia się jeszcze dodatkowe parametry bo  mam standardowe np.9600 N 8 1 , ale może zamiast N 8 1 powinno być coś innego ( tylko co ) , czy próbować po kolei wszystkich możliwych kombinacji ?

9600 to już dawno routery nie mają, złą prędkość ustawiłeś. No to co podłączyłeś ma pracować na napięciach 0-3.3v a nie 0-5v

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

OK, udało się na ustawieniach 57600 N 8 1,
problem leżał po mojej stronie, otóż pola lutownicze do których lutuje się piny
były ciemnoczerwone, chyba specjalnie tak zrobione żeby ciężko było cokolwiek przylutować
i masa nie łączyła , chociaż wyglądała na przylutowaną ( mój interfejs USB ma zworkę do wyboru napięć
3.3V/5V, oczywiście ustawione było 3.3V ) log z uruchamiania urządzenia wygląda następująco :

Nic kompletnie to nie przypomina. Weź obraz initramfs od np. WAVLINK WL-WN577A2 uruchom go w ramie (opcja 1 w menu bootloadera) i zobacz czy się uruchomi i czy wszystko działa.

Masz niepotrzebny router, uszkodzony czy nie - chętnie przygarnę go.

Przecież wifi jest domyślnie wyłączne w openwrt, a żebyś miał luci to musisz wgrać... wersję z luci.

Jeżeli jesteś pewien że działa to wgrywaj do flash wersję z luci.

Tak do końca nie jestem przekonany czy wszystko działa, logi które tu zamieszczam są tylko z konsoli, po LANie nie mogę się zalogować przez SSH , jest time out.

Port 2 jest wykorzystywany, musiał byś sprawdzić config co tam jest wpisane dla tego modelu i ew zmienić. W /etc/config/network. Możesz też sprawdzić inne obrazy, bo może się okazać że klon czegoś istniejącego już.

Masz urządzenie które oficjalnie nie jest wspierane. Jak widzisz openwrt da się uruchomić, kwestia tylko dopasowania sieci, ledów, przycisków. Więc portuj i rób wsparcie.

zwykły soft openwrt wchodzi , ale już luci nie , w trakcie wgrywania jest komunikat out of memory robi się reboot i zaczyna od nowa, czy w takim razie urządzenie ma za małą pamięć ram , czy za mały flash.

Wgrałem Luci do pamięci flash ( wersję sysupgrade.bin ) uruchamia się bo w konsoli widzę start systemu, przy włączaniu i wyłączaniu kabla LAN widzę w konsoli włączenie i wyłączenie interfejsu taki log mam przy przepięciu kabla LAN z jednego gniazdka do drugiego :

jednak komputer podłączony przez LAN nie widzi strony konfiguracyjnej luci ani na jednym ani na drugim gniazdku LAN

Jak napisałem jedno, ty tego nie zrobiłeś. Nie zmieniłeś portów w konfiguracji.

Jestem elektronikiem , nie programistą , pewne rzeczy dla Ciebie oczywiste dla mnie już takie nie są.
Zmieniłem konfigurację w pliku network na taką jak podałeś i działa, wielkie dzięki.
Generalnie prawie wszystko działa, prawie bo WiFi jest tylko 2.4 GHz.
( strona konfiguracyjna luci widzi tylko jedną sieć radiową tę na 2.4GHz )
Może też jakieś zmiany w konfiguracji trzeba zrobić, różnica jest taka że w oryginalnym urządzeniu WN578a2
scalak radiowy dla 5 GHz to MT7610 , a w moim jest MT7612, czyli inny ( nowszy ?), więc trzeba podmienić sterownik lub coś w konfiguracji, albo OpenWRT jeszcze tego nie obsługuje.

Wgrałem soft  z https://dl.eko.one.pl/luci/openwrt-25.12/ramips/mt76x8/  plik
luci-25.12-snapshot-r32362-116083dd91-ramips-mt76x8-wavlink_wl-wn578a2-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin
ten sam plik wgrałem do urządzenia wavlink_wl-wn578a2 ( w zasadzie do Silvercrest z Lidla ) i w tym z Lidla Wifi jest podwójne
ale tam jest układ MT7610.
w konsoli jak napiszę apk info pokazuje listę zainstalowanych sterowników i tam jest ten sterownik.

No niestety nie mieści się :

chyba musiałbym odinstalować coś z czego nie będę korzystał, w zasadzie urządzenie ma być tylko access pointem.
Ale pojawiło się drugie radio o nazwie generic unknown. Po restarcie nazywa się już MediaTek MT76x2E 802.11ac/n.
I jeszcze ostatnie pytanie , w urządzeniu mam 4 ledy niebieskie , jedna świeci się na stałe ( pewnie POWER ), pozostałe nie działają i nie ma do nich dostępu przez standardową konfigurację ( w zakładce LEDy ) czy jest gdzieś plik konfiguracyjny gdzie jest kontrola nad nóżkami GPIO , bo z oryginalnym softem ledy działały , czyli są podłączone pod inne nóżki.

OK, zadziałało, wielkie dzięki, w wolnej chwili rozczaję te LEDy , tzn sprawdzę gdzie która jest podłączona, może na przyszłość się przyda.
EDIT:
Sprawdziłem podłączenia diod i wygląda to następująco
są cztery " światłowody", w nich jest w sumie sześć diod, załączane stanem niskim na wyjściach procesora.
i licząc od dołu
1. Oznaczony POWER są dwie diody ( niebieskie ) , jedna podłączona na stałe do zasilania
    druga podłączona do MT7628 n.139 oznaczona EPHY_LED4_N_JTRST_N - Open WRT steruje nią jako GREEN WAN
2. Oznaczone dużą ikoną wifi , jedna dioda ( niebieska) podłączona do MT7612 ( ten drugi układ od 5GHz ) n.50
    niestety nie znalazłem nazwy tej nóżki w manualu od MT7612
3. Oznaczone małą ikoną wifi dwie diody ( niebieskie ) jedna podłączona do MT7628 n. 143 EPHY_LED0_N_JTD0
    druga podłaczona do MT7628 n. 140 EPHY_LED3_N_JTCLK, jedna z nich świeci jako GREEN LAN, ale nie wiem która bo
    podłączenia nóżek sprawdzałem bez obudowy, a świecenie w obudowie i już mi się nie chciało znów rozbierać.
4. Ostatnia dioda ( też niebieska ) podłączona do MT7628 n.142 EPHY_LED1_N_JTD1.
