Witam posiadam router TP-LINK MR3420 v1 Mam na nim zainstalowane Gargoyle 1.6.2.2 by obsy
Do routera chcę podpiąć dysk Samsung HD250HJ 250 GB
Do tego dysku chcę kupić taką obudowę :

Dysk podzielę na partycję
Extroot - 2 GB
Swap - 512 MB

Czy będzie to działać ?

Ok mam już obudowę
Dysk podzieliłem na 3 partycje programem GParted :
1. 512 MB Swap
2. 3 GB ext2 na system
3. 229 GB ntfs dla ftp
Gdy podłączam dysk do routera to chodzi przez niecałą minutę a potem się wyłącza
Jak wyłączyć automatyczne usypianie dysku w tym gargoyle ?
Nie mogę nawet zrobić extroota ponieważ dysk sie wyłącza i gdy wpisuję blkid to się nie wyświetla
Odłączałem dysk i podpinałem go ponownie ale to nic nie daje

W gargoyle nie ma domyślnie usypiana dysku. Wyłącz w sofcie który został dołączony do dysku.

Nie posiadam takiego softu
Czytałem o przełożeniu zworki na dysku ale nie wiem w które styki ją przełożyć

Pewnie nie, dysk raczej powinien być odporny na to. Jesteś pewien że zworka jest od usypiania a nie jest to przełącznik master/slave/cable select?

Tak więc jak mam zrobić aby ten dysk się nie wyłączał ?

Zobacz czy np. hdparmem tego nie możesz ustawić. Choć jeżeli jest przez usb to może się nie dać.

Pisałem już, routerowi nic do tego, więc po co logi zamieściłeś. Zainstaluj sobie hdparm, uruchom, przeczytaj manual i zastosuj jedną z opcji (-S/-s)

Może u ciebie to nie jest /dev/sda tylko coś innego (sdb?)

Dysk w ogóle nie jest widoczny przez router
Dopiero gdy na karcie micro sd włożonej do czytnika kart i podpiętej do huba a następnie do routera zrobię extroota i zainstaluje zakładkę nośnik usb to wtedy dopiero dysk jest widoczny

Nie masz kmod-usb-storage-extra normalnie zainstalowanego, a pewnie ten dysk ma jakiś dziki kontroler i dlatego?

Do tego modelu pewnie już nie, z powodu braku pamięci flash. Zrób cat /proc/bus/usb/devices i zobacz czy faktycznie jest tak jak piszę.

i się zainstalowało dysk jest wykrywalny mogę już zrobić extroota

Dobra extroota mam ale nie mogę zalączyć pliku wymiany (swap)
Partycja swap jest wykrywalna jako /dev/sda1
Gdy wpisuję :
uci set fstab.@swap[0].device=/dev/sda1
uci set fstab.@swap[0].uuid=865f7e35-d7c6-4285-aa70-4f16aea3253e
uci set fstab.@swap[0].enabled=1
uci commit
reboot
to router uruchamia się ponownie
Jak się już uruchomi to wpisuję w putty
free
i wyświetla mi się swap 0  we wszystkich linijkach
Jak włączyć ten swap aby działał ?
