passwd pomimo potwierdzenia zmiany hasła nie dało się nowym zalogować.
Po firstboot wszystko wróciło do normy IP i Password. Jest już chyba wszystko OK. Przycisk RESET z tyłu obudowy wciąż nie reaguje a na oryginalnym firmware działał.
Co do zachowania konfiguracji przy aktualizacji to GUI Kimax nie ma wyboru. Jest tylko przywrócenie domyślnej konfiguracji i update firmware.
Myślę że ten post może być pomocny innym użytkownikom którzy będą wgrywać gargoyle z poziomu gui kimax.

Aktualizowałem z oryginalnego firmware kimax

No niestety wygląda że przycisk reset nie reaguje z tym firmware.
Dalej odpowiada tylko na 192.168.169.1
Jakieś pomysły jak go uratować ?

Połączony jestem na pewno z dobrą siecią wifi "gargoyle" bo jak go wyłączam to rozłącza połączenie. Na adres 192.168.1.1 nie odpowiada router natomiast 192.168.169.1 otwiera się strona logowania. Po kablu od strony wan tez sie nie oddzywa.
Czy ten firmware ktoś wcześniej już testował ?

Tak wgrałem gargoyle i niestety po podaniu hasła nawet nie wyświetla że złe tylko jakby ponownie chciał hasło.
Przez putty również nie można się zalogować. user: root password: password.
Obraz wgrał się bezproblemowo. Do sieci wifi "gargoyle" hasło "password" działa natomiast do gui jak w kólko chciał aby wprowadzać ponownie.

Jeżeli chodzi o MR3420V2 WR842V2 to są w 100% zgodne. Sam mam wgrane na kilku sztukach soft z 842V2 i wszystko jest zgodne.

Najprościej migrować na flash 16M jest poprzez bootloader Pepe2k. Zgrywasz z routera ART potem na nowy flash wgrywasz bootloader, lutujesz go do routera a reszta przez przeglądarkę i bootloader Pepe2k. Możesz kombinować do woli i zawsze w prosty sposób bez rozbierania routera postawisz go na nogi smile

A jesteś w stanie zrobić kompilację na 16M ?

Czyli jeżeli rozumiem mógłbyś skompilować na wersję 842 v2. Jeżeli to możliwe to bardzo bym Cię prosił.
Przed chwilą wgrałem 1.13 na 842nV2 ale wskazuje brak miejsca na wireguard więc tylko wersja 16M. Jeszcze jest mały problem bo WiFi nie można włączyć.

Wersja 842Nv2 skompilowana na 16M też pewnie by działała na modowanym MR3420V2 bo obecnie na nie wgrywam właśnie soft z 842N.
