Dobra, zmęczyłem Padavana do Xiaomi z tutoriala: https://github.com/rern/MI_Router3_Pada … tallation. Build trwał prawie 2 godziny...
OpenWRT (jego instalacja) nie jest tak dobrze opisana i jednak dla osoby niedoświadczonej w OpenWRT, Padavan jest trochę prostszy w konfiguracji. Teraz już z górki, jest tu DLNA.

Mam taki router od pewnego czasu, ogólnie nie narzekam ale, port USB jest bardzo słabo wydajny prądowo.
Co za tym idzie, jeśli podepnę dysk HDD 2,5 przez USB - router umiera i się restartuje nonstop, problemu nie ma z SSD - ale to przerost formy nad treścią - nigdy jego możliwości nie wykorzystam.

Zatem dysk potrzebuje HUBa aktywnego, jedyny jaki mi działa to taki chińczyk z przełącznikami za 10zł.
Natomiast transfer jest tragiczny rzędu 800-900kB/s.
Testowałem już 3 różne huby aktywne USB2.0 - z żadnym router sobie nie radzi, nie widzi ich - dodatkowo powodują zawieszanie się routera

Kupiłem teraz dodatkowo Xiaomi MIR3 i kupa, dysk chodzi pięknie, widzę go w sieci, ale nie ma DLNA - a chodzi mi o to by wgrywać na dysk przez komputer, oglądać na TV. Procedura wgrywania OpenWRT do niego odrzuciła mnie swoją długością. W TPLinku - Gargoyle wgrywało się 1 kliknięciem sad Więc wracam do pomysłu z uruchomieniem dysku na routerze głównym Huawei B315s22.

Jakieś pomysły?

...Jeśli potrzebujesz routera do LTE tylko to oczywiście nie bierz tego Edimaxa a coś z wbudowanym modemem LTE, tani jest np. Huawei E5180. To znacznie lepsze rozwiązanie, stabilne i bezproblemowe.

Jeśli wolisz wydać 150-250 zł zamiast 30, to powyższa rada może okazać się słuszna. Za posiadany modem dostaniesz na popularnym serwisie aukcyjnym 50-60 zł zwrotu.
Mialem Edimaxa kilka dni i pracował super stabilnie z modemem ZTE. I używał bym go nadal gdybym nie potrzebował printservera..

Jeśli potrzebujesz routera tylko do obsługi LTE, polecam EDIMAX LT-6408n. Wbrew pozorom tani i dobrze sobie radzi nawet z prądożernymi modemami ZTE. Piszę to w przypadku gdyby się okazało, że umarł poczciwy WDR4300 (sam takiego teraz używam smile

Easybox 802 wbrew pozorom to bardzo fajne urządzenie, idealnie komponuje się z bielą mojej lodówki, na której stoi smile
Na poważnie. WiFI, modem E3372h oraz diody/przyciski prawidłowo działają na Chaos Calmer 15.05.1. .... Wcale nie jest taki zły, a trzy porty USB piechotą nie chodzą, podobnie jak dobry zasięg WiFi, który Easybox 802 posiada.

Ostatecznie wolę białego TPLinka 3220/40 ktorych biel równie dobrze będzie się komponowała.
W moim przypadku walka była nierówna - miałem modem MF823 i nawet jak wszystko już dzialało to router restartował się kilka razy dziennie, prawdopodobnie zbyt mała wydajność prądowa.
TPlink 3220 z hubem bez zasilania dodatkowego dźwigał ten modem.
ZTE to syf smile Sprzedałem na popularnym serwisie aukcyjnym a na bliźniaczym serwisie ogłoszeń lokalnych za te same pieniędze kupiłem E3372 (jego też uwaliłem przerabiając na HiLink, ale o 3 rano już śmigał smile Stabilność Huaweii bez porównania. Przypuszczam, że jest mniej prądożerny.

EasyBox jest fajny do zabawy jeśli już jest wgrane OpenWRT z popularnej na serwisie aukcyjnym dystrybucji z działającym USB i WiFi. Zrobienie go samemu kopiii tego oprogramowania.. to jakaś masakra.
Dziś znów mam TPLinka 4300, kupiłem za dobre pieniądze, Gargoyle / LEDE wgrywam i konfiguruję w 5 minut.
EasyBox to strata czasu czyli pieniędzy, tylko tak potrafię się do niego odnieść.

Po długiej walce sprzedałem za 2 czteropaki piwa, w pełni działający i przez pół dnia tłumaczyłem gościowi jak skonfigurować LuCi do pracy z modem 3G.. i chyba i tak poległ..

Właśnie uspałem komputer na około 2 minuty.... Patrzę i co widzę, potwierdzenie mojej teorii. Zasięg spadł do minimum, nie mogę prawie żadnej strony otworzyć. Przy wymuszonym WCDMA tak się nie dzieje ale zapewne z powodu innej konsumpcji prądu.

Wszystko wskazuje na to, że coś przechodzi w stan uśpienia/oszczędzania energii (?) niestety ale tak to widzę. Zresetowałem po raz już kolejny router, mam pełny zasięg (-54dbM), jak zamknę laptopa (czyli rozłączę po WiFi) to jak w temacie, po jakimś czasie spada do -86dBm. Z racji, że testowałem modem z laptopem na LTE i nie było podobnych objawów - dochodzę do wniosku, że jednak router steruje prądem USB, natomiast sądzę tak tylko z obserwacji (tak jest to teoria wyssana z palca).

W logach systemu nie widzę nic o usypianiu, załączam kawałek (obejmujący pewnie restarty urządzenia):

Przełączyłem modem w tryb WCDMA i zasięg nie znika. Więc albo jednak do LTE ma za mało prądu albo coś się p...osypało z trybem LTE. Miałem kiedyś jakiegoś Huaweia gdzie dla odmiany trafiło HSPA a w innym trybie paśmie pracował normalnie.

Mam postawione najnowsze LEDE ze stajni Cezarego + LEDE (17.01-SNAPSHOT r3514-97ebdf9) oraz modem ZTE MF823.
Problem polega na tym, że po włączeniu routera widzę zasięg na 4/5 kresek (-60dBm). Zestaw sobie popracuje dzień lub dwa, zasięg spada do 1/5 lub 0/5 (-80-85dBm).

Restartuję router, zasięg powraca i wszystko działa poprawnie przez 1-3 dni i znów pasuje go restartować.
Ciężko mi stwierdzić czy problem jest z modemem czy z routerem a ten modem właściwie w kilku innych routerach z openwrt był  problematyczny, ale "jakoś działał" i zdarza się mi nawet czasami uzyskać magiczną prędkość 30Mbps.

Na każdej jednej wersji LEDE+Luci jakie instalowałem (4 ostatnie kompilacje od Cezarego) wyglądało to tak samo.
Logi routera nie pokazują nic niepokojącego.

Macie jakiś pomysł, sugestię czego to może być wina? Gdyby było za mało prądu spodziewał bym się, że router by się sam resetował tak przeważnie miałem w innych routerach...

Oby Wam działał ten snapshot, ponieważ kilka miesięcy wstecz, kiedy męczyłem się z tym routerem - nie było LEDE na ten model z działającym USB. Gdyby ktoś był zainteresowany przywróceniem CC z działającym WiFi (z którym tam był problem) - mogę przekazać obrazy wszystkich partycji (tu był wątek: https://eko.one.pl/forum/viewtopic.php?id=15570).

Generalnie, okazało się w moim przypadku, że pomimo iż działało WiFi, działało USB.. router potrafił mi się zresetować częściej niż raz dziennie z modemem LTE MF823. Miałem dwa urządzenia i na obu były podobne cyrki.
Sprzedałem za czapkę gruszek i kupiłem kolejnego TPLinka (a do nich cała masa obrazów od Cezarego i nie tylko).

Racja, literówka WDR4300. Wiem jak jest przycisk oznaczony. Failsafe działa, mój problem polegał na tym, że posiałem gdzieś kabel Ethernet a w trybie failsafe WIFI jest wyłączone, a potrzebowałem zresetować żeby połączyć właśnie bezprzewodowo do "świeżego" gargoyla. Tak czy owak, dziękuję za informację, literówkę w temacie poprawiłem.

Nie wiem dlaczego ale factory reset opisany w zarysie Gargoyle nie działa u mnie w WDR4300

..."- "reset" przytrzymany od 11s do 90s powoduje przywrócenie ustawień domyślnych (firstboot) i restart urządzenia. "

Chwilowo zapodziałem kabel ethernet a ustawiłem hasło wifi którego nie mogłem sobie przypomnieć, około pół godziny trwało aż dostałem się do routera (przypomniałem sobie hasło). Próbowałem resetować wg powyższego (co działało mi na AA w MR3220), niestety w tym routerze nie działa.
Reset do fabryki potrafię zrobić dopiero po zalogowaniu przez http/lub komendą przez SSH.

Przycisk trzeba samodzielnie gdzieś programować, czy jest jakieś niedopatrzenie w Gargoyle/OpenWRT? (mowa tu o ostatniej kompilacji gargoyle z CC dla tego urządzenia).

Ok. Nie śledzę cały czas tego forum, więc nie wiedziałem, że jest problem z motywami. Tak myślałem, że taki właśnie jest powód, ale warto było się upewnić. Do zamknięcia zatem wątek. Dziękuję za informację.

P.S. Ostatecznie zainstalowałem LEDE kompilowane przez Cezarego i używam Luci, co prawda toporniej się to konfiguruje ale wyglądem nie rani moich uczuć estetycznych (w porównaniu do aktualnych Gargoyle i niedziałających skór ;]).

Korzystałem do tej pory z Gargoyle  naszego guru Cezarego na MR3220 (AA) tam jest domyślnie motyw Blue Ice G.

Wczoraj odpaliłem inną kompilację z eko.one.. (gargoyle-1.9.2.4-ar71xx-tl-wdr4300-v1-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin) ten Gargoyle wygląda paskudnie. Pomyślałem, że zainstaluję ten sam motyw co powyżej, niestety wygląda odrobinkę lepiej.
Brak kwadratowych przycisków (buttonów) po lewej, logo gargoyle w lewym górnym rogu, generalnie zupełnie inny widok niż miałem w MR3220 w kompilacji sprzed kilku lat. O co chodzi? Instalowałem kompilację BB, był jak BB - również "Bardzo Brzydki".

Inny problem, po zainstalowaniu kilku tematów, po usunięciu jednego z nich zniknęła zakłada "Motywy", choć wciąż było zainstalowanych ich kilka - nie mogłem ich przełączyć. Dopiero instalacja "Gargoyle Modern" przywróciła mi tą zakładkę.

Niektóre źródła podają, że LT6408n może pracować jako printserver USB - ma ktoś doświadczenie w tym temacie? Chyba nie potrafię tego skonfigurować żeby działało.

HUB osiąga transfery ok. 20-30MB/s na pendrivie USB 2.0. Wykorzystuję do MR3220 v2 + ZTE MF823 + drukarka USB + pendrive.
HUB jest niby pasywny, ale ma gniazdko jak na zasilacz w żaden sposób nie opisane... Tak czy owak u mnie działa bez dodatkowego zasilania.

HUB jest dostępny cały czas w sprzedaży na alledrogo i innych sklepach (2017) w cenie 9-15 PLN (aktualnie jest w SFERIS za 9 PLN).

A tu masz "no właśnie gdzieś" - https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB, więcej od 500mA zapewnia dopiero USB3. Ciekawy jestem tylko kto dokonuje tych pomiarów prądu na gniazdach USB i publikuje je na forum ? Zaskocz mnie. To, że ktoś napisze, że na WDR4300 działają mu 2 dyski wymagające 800mA i to jest dowód na to, że port ma taką wydajność prądową to powodzenia. Rozumiem, że sam mierzysz napięcia i prądy na przerobionej "tonie sprzętu". Z resztą, nie muszę tu nic nikomu udowadniać.
Skoro masz tak bogatą wiedzę na temat routerów - czemu szukasz pomocy na forum? Google przestało działać?

Mówi się: dziękuję, zamiast "nie spamuj". Chciałem pomóc, fakt - przeoczyłem, że chcesz gigabita. Resztę wymogów router spełnia.
Równie dobrze Twój post można uznać za spam, masz google i parametry routerów - więc po co "spamujesz forum" nowym tematem... Co do wydajności prądowej - nie wiem tego na 100% ale gdzieś czytałem, że wszędzie jest do 500mA a więcej tylko przez HUB aktywny.

Dzięki za info. Na przyszłość na pewno się przyda.

edit: Znalazłem chyba, aukcja 6798569960. Szkoda, że nie ma tego więcej na rynku w tej cenie.
