Witam.

Wpadł mi w ręce na chwilę modem jak w temacie i nie mogę go odpalić, ale fajnie by było jakby chodził bo pewnie inni też będą taki mieć a i ja może też wink

Jak widać wykryło modem z ProdID=1506, więc spróbowałem go przełączyć z palca i tu efekty:

Podejrzewam że trzeba dodać obsługę tego modelu w sterowniku/pliku option, znalazłem coś takiego w necie: http://www.spinics.net/lists/linux-usb/msg46983.html ale jak to ugryźć to już nie wiem.

Drivera nie masz. Strzelam że moduł option nie zna go bo jest za nowy.

echo "12d1 1506" > /sys/bus/usb-serial/drivers/option1/new_id

powinno pomóc.

No i pomogło, super.

Modem zgłasza się z pięcioma interfejsami, 3ginfo działa na ostatnim czyli /dev/ttyUSB4

Zmiana w moim przypadku jest taka, że pingi zmalały z 120-130 ms (Huawei E156G) do 50-60 ms.

Inna, nowsza  technologia. Dzięki za info, umieszczę to w spisie.

PS. zrób mi 3ginfo-test i przyślij na mejla.

Zakładam ze HSPA+ może coś nowego zgłaszać jako tryb pracy modemu, ale nie mam takiego modemu żeby sprawdzić.

o masz zrobiłem reboota i poszło wykasowałem dodatkowe lokalizacje pakietów i poszło
teraz próbuję to cudo uruchomić ;]
