So maybe it's not a problem that "the wifi stops working" but that the router is restarting itself over and over for some reason.

I logged in with SSH, and I used logread -f. I had enabled wifi N already. I then enabled OpenWrt default wifi AC on and off to generate logs and see if it was working, and then I saw that wifi n connection disconnected, and the router restarted... This is the log from SSH just before the router restarted . Any ideas? Thank you!

What you mean makes total sense. I am not disconnecting/ connecting the router manually or on purpose. When WiFi disconnects, I am just waiting.

For example, again happened that it dropped. WiFi client disconnected, ssid could not be seen anymore.  I waited until I could see ssid, I logged in and this is the log now. Only I cannot see the logs I posted earlier anymore… but I do se logs from yesterday, in every case.

Unless maybe the clock marks a different time and I think it’s from yesterday but is from today! Mmm let me check

Good morning! Yes, I can share a fresh one from LUCI . Router was on all night without activity and this morning I logged in with my phone. Ir worked good and then WiFi got lost. This is the log, no relevant activity before. It seems that my router gets out of sync, not sure why. I anonymized devices and Macs.

If something else is missing, how can I enable a reliable log- maybe through ssh I can log activity/debug better and get more detailed data?

Hello, Sorry for writing in English. I recently installed 24.10 from https://dl.eko.one.pl/firmware/ my wifi keeps crashing when a client browses the internet after connecting. Any ideas?
I'm very new to this, and I tried the openwrt firmware, the 4iceG compiled version successfully, yet I have the problem that it disconnects the client after a while, so wifi (nor N not AC) is not reliable...

I had a TIM italy firmware, then went to openwrt via serial, as I do not have windows...
I heard from different forums that this could probably be the best in terms of knowledge on this router...
Did anyone have this problem?
