Mówiąc parlamentarnie mijasz się z prawdą. Tylko zasilanie jest 5V, wartość stanu wysokiego UART to w nim 3.3V.

Kabel to chyba najlepiej z końcówkami dupont, ale może być w zasadzie każdy 
. Ważniejsza jest przejściówka USB<->UART. Każda się nada. Na Allegro jest tego masa. Można też użyć kabla USB od starego telefonu np Siemensa S65 albo Nokii 6210.
Dzięki pepe2k, udało się usunąć te sterowniki. Za to teraz uruchamianie kończy się wcześniej:

Coś jest nie tak:
Odznaczyłem w make kernel_menuconfig wszystkie inne kontrolery, ale w /build_dir/target-i386_i486_uClibc-0.9.33.2/linux-x86_generic/linux-3.18.29/.config nie zniknęły, więc edytowałem z palca i zapisałem. Skompilowałem i jest tak samo. Patrzę znów do tego pliku a tam z powrotem CONFIG_PATA_AMD=y i kilka innych... Czyżby dzieło sił nieczystych?
Tak, bo kontroler jest niepoprawnie rozpoznawany. pata_amd (1.303489 w logu CC) zamiast pata_cs5536 (0.749603 w logu BB). Jaka jest przyczyna takiego stanu rzeczy?
No i przede wszystkim brakuje pata_cs5536: Using MSR regs instead of PCI, a z tego co wiem to właśnie to jest kluczem do sukcesu. Cokolwiek to znaczy .

Nie zmieniał bym, gdyby nie działo się tak. Z tego, co rozumiem, w jakiś inny sposób jest oznaczana partycja z systemem w CC, za pomocą uuid...
Na powyższym screenie widać efekt, gdy podmieniłem kernel na pierwszej partycji i cały system plików na drugiej z BB na CC.
Zachciało mi się Chaos Calmer na tytułowym sprzęcie i niestety nie bardzo chce się uruchomić.

option enabled '0'więc system nadal jest na /dev/sda2, a gdy pozostawię tak w menu.lst to jest tak samo. Dla przypomnienia powiem, że na nowym GRUB-ie ten sprzęt się zawiesza. Jakiś pomysł jak to ugryźć?
Pora coś wyjaśnić: ruter przestał się grzać -> ruter przestał pobierać prąd. Dopóki tego nie zmienisz, raczej nie ma perspektyw, by podjąć z nim komunikację po UART.
Jest sobie i się nie zmienił. Problemem okazał się u-boot. Ogarnięty szałem wgrałem go stąd i za cenę 20 dodatkowych MHz nie działa wifi - nie warto .
Mam problem z tytułową operacją. Kostkę bez problemu wykrywa, ale coś wifi nie chce działać, chociaż jestem pewien, że ART jest we właściwym miejscu (zrobiłem wsad 16MiB sklejając dwie kopie oryginalnego). Zrobiłem również backup z wlutowaną kością 8MiB:

Coś się kupy nie trzyma to, co piszesz. Albo nie mierzyłeś względem masy.
Niemniej wynika z tego, że 1 - GND, 2 lub 3 - TX lub RX, 4 - VCC.
Mnie to wygląda na na problem z RAMem. Tym bardziej, że był wymieniany. Może jakiś zimny lut? Spróbuj może przycisnąć kości jakimś spinaczem do prania albo innym zaciskiem do klejenia. Oczywiście w celach diagnostycznych .
