Właśnie przetestowałem na R7800 przy użyciu iperf3. Serwer uruchomiony na R7800, a klient na komputerze. Wyniki są takie:

Radio 5GHz średnio 341 Mbits/sec (ten sam pokój)

Gigabit Ethernet średnio 879 Mbits/sec (między R7800 a komputerem dwa przełączniki)

Na forum nic nie znalazłem. Wszystkie wątki dotyczą R7800. Czy ktoś może potwierdzić, że na R7800 też nie działa VHT160? Sprawdziłem na różnych kanałach i dupa.

Na R7800 również nie działa, radio nie wstaje na 160. Nie działało również na LEDE 17.01 więc zignorowałem to myśląc, że sterownik jeszcze tego nie obsługuje.

Miałem dzisiaj chwilę czasu przejrzeć logi jądra generowane przez OpenWrt 18.06 na R7800 i znalazłem informacje o błędach odczytu partycji. Pojawiają się tylko przy starcie routera. Nie przejmuje się nimi bo na LEDE było to samo: http://eko.one.pl/forum/viewtopic.php?p … 86#p189086 (dotyczą one partycji mtd0 - „qcadata" i mtd1 - „APPSBL”). Czy jest tutaj ktoś z R7800 i ma podobne błędy?

Jest za to fajna, czytelna instrukcja ręcznej instalacji DNSCrypt-Proxy v2 na OpenWrt/LEDE.

Zapytałem również Cezarego o możliwość zbudowania paczki na podstawie już skompilowanych plików i na razie czekam na odpowiedź. Może uda się wypracować jakieś rozwiązanie w tej kwestii.

Również jestem zainteresowany. Tylko czy aktualizacja z v1 (konfiguracja) będzie bezproblemowa? Z chęcią przestawiłbym się z Cisco na Cloudflare (1.1.1.1).

Po ponad dobie z OpenWrt 18.06 na R7800 od Cezarego mogę powiedzieć, że nie zauważyłem żadnych problemów, wszystko działa poprawnie i stabilnie, przynajmniej w takim zakresie, w którym ja używam ten router.

Zainstalowałem i skonfigurowałem kilka pakietów:

dnscrypt-proxy działa poprawnie z dnsami Cisco, tylko dlaczego nie ma wersji 2?

Działają bez problemu - luci-app-nlbwmon wraz z zależnościami,  luci-app-watchcat wraz z zależnościami, luci-app-adblock wraz z zależnościami, luci-app-statistics z wieloma wtyczkami collectd i zależnościami. (sporadycznie zdarza się, że wykresy nie są generowane po restarcie routera, ale zdarzało się to również w LEDE, pomaga restart)

Zauważyłem jedną rzecz dotyczącą statystyk Cezarego. Kiedy włączamy statystyki, a w ustawieniach crona, jest już jakiś wpis, to wpis dotyczący statystyk Cezarego wpisywany jest w tej samej linii co poprzedni wpis, bez znaku nowej linii. Pewnie podobnie jest w starszym LEDE.

Cezary planujesz dodanie do obrazów wsparcie dla diod aktywności sieci 2.4GHz i 5 GHz? Z opisu wynika, że te obrazy mają odpowiednie patche: https://forum.lede-project.org/t/build- … -r7800/316

OpenWrt 18.06 zostaje u mnie i liczę na dalsze aktualizacje obrazów. Dzięki Cezary za pracę i czas poświęcony na przygotowywanie tych obrazów.

Pamiętaj że R7800 ma zmienione partycje. Więc wgrywaj na czysto, nie przez sysupgrade.

@Wally twierdzi że można się pozbyć jeszcze jednej partycji (zwłaszcza jak ktoś nie będzie używał oryginału na nim).

W pierwszej kolejności spróbowałem zrobić przez sysupgrade i tak jak piszecie rooter nie wstaje. Zrobiłem więc na czysto przez TFTP, skonfigurowałem i jak na razie od godziny wszystko działa. Więcej napiszę później, jak rooter będzie działać dłużej i zacznę instalować pakiety. Po instalacji wolna przestrzeń na pakiety to 76.98 MB.

Posiadam R7800 więc bardzo interesuje mnie ten punkt. Router jest "na produkcji" ale i tak zaryzykuję, dużo zmieniło się w OpenWrt więc na pewno będę aktualizować mojego R7800. Spróbuję najpierw wykonać sysupgrade z zachowaniem konfiguracji. Czy w ogóle będzie to możliwe, sysupgrade zmieni rozmiar partycji?

Tak czy siak jak ktoś ma rozbudowaną konfigurację to i tak będzie musiał się zmierzyć z ręcznym upgrade pakietów bo sporo pozmieniały się np. mwan3/adblock.

Na R7800 korzystam z adblocka. Co to za zmiany? Konfiguracja adblocka z 17.01 nie będzie działać z 18.06?
Zobaczymy, będę najwyżej się męczyć. Na pewno spróbuję zaktualizować do 18.06, bo z tego co śledziłem git jest bardzo dużo zmian istotnych dla R7800 szczególnie jeśli chodzi o sterownik WiFi.

Witam,

dzisiaj na git.openwrt.org pojawiła się gałąź "openwrt-18.06" co sugeruje, że wydanie stabilne zbliża się wielkimi krokami.
Mam więc pytanie. Czy i kiedy Cezary planujesz wydanie swoich obrazów OpenWrt 18.06? Co mnie bardziej interesuje, czy będą obrazy dla R7800? I czy przejście z LuCI LEDE 17.01-SNAPSHOT od Cezarego z zachowaniem konfiguracji będzie polegać tylko na aktualizacji czy będzie wymagać jakiś głębszych kombinacji?

Chodzi o mtd0 i mtd1? Możesz napisać do czego są przewidziane te partycje oraz pozostałe? Tak jak mówiłem oprócz historii z modem w trybie bridge to router działa wzorowo przy moich zastosowaniach na Twoich obrazach. Przed Twoimi obrazami używałem oryginalnego obrazu LEDE gdzie partycja na programy była mała, a potem zaktualizowałem do Twoich obrazów z nieoficjalnym wsparciem większej partycji na dane. Może tu leży przyczyna?

Czyli co do połączenia z modemem w trybie bridge nie widać rozwiązania? Zostawiam tak jak jest na podwójnym NATcie i się nie przejmuję. Dziękuję za zainteresowanie w tym temacie.

Nie wiem o co dokładnie pytasz. Ja nic przy systemach plików, partycjach, exroot itp nie robiłem. Nigdy nawet nie podłączałem do routera żadnej pamięci usb czy esata. Jeśli chodzi o partycje, to wszystko jest domyślnie z Twoich obrazów.

Możecie coś więcej powiedzieć na ich temat? To coś poważnego? Błędy na partycji? Pojawiają się na wszystkich kompilacjach LEDE, które do tej pory używałem z R7800. Z tego co widzę pojawiają się tylko podczas startu systemu. Pomimo tych błędów system startuje i działa prawidłowo.

Nie, nie ma. Karta nie ma ustawionego kodu pin, a przynajmniej nigdy takiego nie podawałem. Gdy modem nie jest w trybie bridge to działa. Mogę żyć z tym podwójnym NATem - wyłączam wtedy na modemie serwer DHCP ustawiam DMZ na router itp., ale wydaje mi się to średnio właściwe dlatego dążę do pozbycia się NATu w modemie.

Podczas testów z trybem bridge modemu, zauważyłem, że po dłuższej pracy routera, na interfejsie WAN TX jest znacząco wyższy od RX, RX w zasadzie nic nie odbiera.

Dziękuję za szybką odpowiedź. Tak jak napisałem wcześniej LEDE testowo mam zresetowane do ustawień fabrycznych. Jeżeli uda mi się zmusić router do pracy z modemem ustawionym w tryb bridge, to zmodyfikuję swoją konfigurację, którą trzymam w bezpiecznym miejscu.

Witam,

przełączyłem swój modem Huawei E5186s-22a pracujący w sieci PLAY w tryb pracy bridge mode. Modem zgodnie z instrukcją z tej strony: https://torba.quora.com/Replacing-firmw … LTE-router
podłączyłem do portu lan/wan, a na routerze (NETGEAR r7800 z LEDE z Luci najnowszy obraz od Cezarego) do portu wan. W LEDE interfejs WAN ustawiony jest na klienta DHCP. Widzę, że router otrzymuje z serwera DHCP PLAY swój numer ip, numer ip bramy, numery ip DNSów itp. Swój komputer podłączony mam testowo kabelkiem do portu lan routera. Nic nie wychodzi poza moją sieć lan, pingi np do 8.8.8.8 czy uzyskanej z DHCP bramy operatora nie przechodzą. Co robię źle? LEDE mam zresetowane do ustawień fabrycznych, które w mojej ocenie powinny działać (dawać dostęp do internetu poprzez modem w trybie bridge).

Kiedy modem pracuje w trybie routera czyli gdy mam podwójny NAT wszystko działa. Chciałbym pozbyć się podwójnego NAT, ale coś mi nie idzie.
