Kolego, toż to masz mikrotika na pokładzie, pytanie tylko z jaką licencją, ale w zasadzie zrobisz na tym wszystko - innymi słowy nie rozumiem, po co Ci openwrt, instalujesz winbox'a i jedziesz.
PS. Dosłownie wczoraj dostałem routerboart 112 z kartą miniPCI na WiFi 2,4/5 GHz, obudową w postaci anteny panelowej, plus zasilacz i POE - za free, znajoma chciała to wyrzucić, bo zmieniła operatora, a poprzedni operator nie żądał zwrotu....
Przyłączam się do pytania, ale na razie od strony teoretycznej.
W swojej sieci mam rejestrator, chcę go udostępnić na zasadzie multicast. W rejestratorze mam tylko takie coś:
Czy może mi ktoś wytłumaczy, jaki adres tutaj powinienem ustawić, jakieś LAN, czy z WAN, a jeśli z WAN to jaki (z jakiego zakresu) i od czego to zależy? Jestem zielony jeśli chodzi o multicast, także proszę o wyrozumiałość. Ideę znam, ale schody zaczynają się na samym początku.
wg mnie dobrze, co prawda napięcie na wyjście jest około 12.3V, a z aku ponad 12.4, ale pi razy drzwi tyle wytrzyma
PS. Dowiedziałem się u mojego dostawcy internetu - sieć podtrzymana jest w 90%, wzmacniacz w kamienicy też, także krótki zanik zasilania (do 30 min) mi nie straszny

root@OpenWrt:~$Zainstalowałem WiFiDOg, wydaje się najbardziej funkcjonalny (ma w sobie hotspot oraz tzw Captive portal, czyli w pełni funkcjonalny hotspot). Niestety, coś nie działa. Internet `mówi`, że problem został dawno rozwiązany (3 lata temu):

Nie mniej, dalej mam takie właśnie komunikaty 
W zasadzie komunikat do Cezarego - czy czasem paczek do tego nie masz jakiś starych/nie kompatybilnych? Mam OpenWrt ściągniętego od Ciebie z wydania z 2011-10-13. Być może od tego czasu coś się zmieniło, nie wiem. Proszę o pomoc.
PS. Dodam, że podczas instalacji opkg install wifidog dostałem na początku masę błędów/komunikatów o (chyba) zdublowanych pakietach oraz coś drukowymi literami (nie pamiętam co dokładnie), ale instalacja poszła.

Zasilacz impulsowy LED-CCTV SPS-PB12V5A 12V DC/5A buforowy (z możliwością ładowania akumulatora) w obudowie metalowej.
Co do kablówki - mam dostęp do głównego przyłącza (jest w głównej skrzynce przyłączeniowej na całą kamienicę) muszę się przyjrzeć, najwyżej tam też pyknę taki zestaw. Pytanie jak jest dalej, nie wydaje mi się, aby kablówka w głównej rozdzielni (albo gdzieś po drodze) ma UPS`s - muszę się od nich tego dowiedzieć, w sumie rzadko kiedy pada zasilania całego miasta, częściej dzielnicy. Ciekawe pytanie.
Jednak dla mnie najważniejszy jest podtrzymanie routera - podpięty pod niego jest obraz z rejestratora i przesyłany do urządzenia NAS. Wszystko podtrzymane.
PS. Co do ceny, wyszło troszkę ponad 100 zł, sam zasilacz 75 zł.
Piszę informacyjne, może komuś się przyda - rozwiązaniem mojego problemu (restartowania się routera) był zasilacz.
Wkurzyłem się, kupiłem przemysłowy zasilacz buforowy 230AC/12VDC 5A, do tego akumulator 7Ah i od ponad 4 dni spokój, a dodatkowo mam zabezpieczenie przed zanikiem zasilania. Do tego podłączony jest modem z kablówki, także zaniki napięcia (i to nawet dłuższe są mi nie straszne).
PS. Dlaczego nie sprawiłem sobie UPS`a ? Bo raz, ma mniejszą sprawność (w zasadzie straty przewyższyłby pobór tak małego prądu jak jest dla routera), za te pieniądze takiego nie dostane (wydałem około 80 zł za zasilacz z akumulatorem - tj. być może znalazłbym UPS`a off-linowego, tj z kwadratem na wyjściu i dość dużą zwłoką czasową, ale na pewno by zdążył dla routera, też to prawie nic prądu nie pobiera). Ponadto odpadły mi dwa zasilacze, został jeden+mały akumulatorek. Jedyna wada, to że jest mało estetyczne, ale i tak tego nikt nie widzi.

Dobra, przepraszam za zamieszanie.
Starałem zainstalować pakiet tar, ale nie wychodziło, ciągle wyskakiwał w/w błąd podczas próby rozpakowania. Okazało się, że miałem w 100% wykorzystany temfs i opkg update nie działało (nie miałem listy dostępnych pakietów).
Jak miało to wpływ na tar'a przed instalacją - nie wiem, bo zainstalowałem pakiet tar i poszło.
Wygląda na to, że jednak jest. Na podglądzie widać pliki ułożone jeden za drugim, jak w tarze....
Na necie nalazłem info, że busybox ma starszą wersję tara niż obecnie się stosuje, ale co z tym zrobić dalej nie wiem.
Dodam, że to nie pierwsze archiwum, które nie chce się rozpakować.
Jeszcze jedno
Chciałem usunąć oraz zmodyfikować pewne wartości przez uci - nie dało się, bo byty te informacje zapisane w /etc/config/fstab
Czyli jak coś jest pliku /etc/config/..... to polecenia uci nie działają na dane w pliku?
Przykładowo miałem w sekcji swap pliku fstab deklaracje option enable i chciałem ją usunąć (bo powinno być enabled) to się nie dało przez polecenia uci.
Czyli priorytety to plik, a później komendy uci (jeśli chodzi o modyfikacje).

Dobra, czaję baze
Proces bootowania jest taki (tj podejrzewam) , że kernel wywoływany jest z jakimś parametrem root=....... (być może wcześniej jest initrd) odwołujący się do systemu plików jffs. Tam system odczytuje fstaba'a (albo bardziej coś z uci) nakazujący mu instalację overlay na moją pamięć zewnętrzną (usb).
W takim razie, aby dodać swap muszę podmontować stary rootfs i pozmieniać tam, tak?
Problem jest taki, że /dev/mtd3 oraz /dev/mtdblock3 za chiny nie mogę podmotować (system plików jffs). Ale nawet jakbym podmontował plik to co zmienić? Skoro /etc/fstab i tak nie działa, to gdzie siedzi cała konfiguracja uci (bo siedzieć gdzieś musi).

Poległem, ostatnim krokiem który zrobiłem to usunięcie /etc/fstaba i zrobienie:

In order for UCI to work, there need to be symlink! In case the bug has already taken place, delete /etc/fstab and then type this code to busybox.
ln -s /tmp/fstab /etc/fstabIt will create a symlink to the /tmp/fstab file, fixing the bug completely.
Nie wiem tylko jak to rozumieć - skoro rozwiązaniem jest utworzenie linku do /tmp/fstab to po restarcie nic tam nie będzie!
Z tego co rozumiem rozwiązaniem są tylko i wyłącznie polecenia UCI, będę walczył tak, choć nie lubię ich.

Problem jest taki - w sieci jeden komputer jest tzw. komputerem roboczym/publicznym. Generalnie jest tam wyłączony internet poprzez regułkę w firewallu.
Niestety, od czasu do czasu pewni operatorzy chcieliby dostęp do internetu. Ręczne logowanie się routera, zmiana wpisów w iptables, restartowanie firewalla jest żmudne.
Kiedyś widziałem fajne rozwiązanie - dowolny użytkownik chcący połączyć się z siecią (przez protokół http) najpierw przełączany jest na stronę logowania. Wpisuje się login i hasło.
Po zatwierdzeniu przez jakiś czas (albo do wylogowania?) komputer jest (a przynajmniej www) odblokowany i można śmigać w sieci.
Czy podobną funkcjonalność da się zrobić w OpenWRT, a jak tak, to jak?

Ja miałem podobny problem z openvpn, jednego razu działało wyśmienicie, innego razu nie mogło zestawić połączenia. Komunikat ten sam co u Ciebie.
Ostatecznie starałem się przejść na IPSec`a (openswan), ale to tylko przysporzyło mi kłopotów (trochę na własne życzenie - ustawiłem złe ścieżki w opkg, do innego wydania) i potrzeba do tego extroot`a (normalnie jest za mało miejsca w routerze, nawet jak wywalisz co się da).
Po moich ostatnich doświadczeniach mogę Ci tylko podpowiedzieć, abyś zainstalował nową wersję OpenWRT i spróbował jeszcze raz od początku (z tego co rozumiem kompilowałeś najnowszą wersję, ale openvpa, a co z systemem?).
Mam jakieś dziwne podejrzenie, że któreś z poprzednich wydań OpenWRT (nie wiem jak obecne) od Cezarego nie współpracowało dobrze z OPneVPN. Sam próbowałem na tysiąc sposobów konfiguracji, ciągle było coś nie tak.

A co było przyczyną - zastanowiły mnie problemy z ipv6, z którego przecież nie korzystam. Przypomniałem sobie, że jakieś czas temu chciałem zainstalować przez opkg openswan. Tak się złożyło, że nastąpiła chyba zmiana ścieżek dla opkg albo nie było pakietu openswan więc dopisałem ścieżkę z openwrt.org. Albo albo, już nie pamiętam, na pewno coś ze ścieżkami majstrowałem.
Openswan i tak się nie zainstalował, bo było za mało miejsca (nie mam extroot), ale kmod'y pościągało i po instalowało. Tylko, że najprawdopodobniej były to mody do innej kompilacji, nie wiem.

Dzięki za sugestie, zasilacz bez obciążenia pokazuje 12.2 V, ale jest szansa, że jest walnięty - kiedyś walczyłem z uruchomieniem COM'a i nie dałem rady zasilacz maxa3232 za pomocą pinów przy TX i RX. Pomógł zewnętrzny zasilacz.

PS2. Nie wiem czemu, ale pokazuje mi się kropka "." co jakiś czas (jakby co 30 s na konsoli - nie wiem czy tak powinno być).
PS3. Dziś urządzanie po zwisie i auto-restarcie nie podniosło się wogóle (cały czas migała dioda sys)
Co Ci po takiej usłudze? Jak urządzenie nie działa to i usługa nie działa. Możesz uptime logować do pliku.
Niby tak, masz rację. Może inaczej - skąd wyciągnąć logi systemu (jeśli są?). Może mam jakieś errory o których nie wiem. Być może wystarczy skonfigurować usługę log na `verbose`,co pozwoli mi wyciągnąć więc informacji?
