Ten / wskazuje na katalog główny. cd /dev; cd /scsi powoduje że próbujesz wejść na /scsi w głównym katalogu, nie w tym bieżącym. samo cd scsi jak już.
Na partycję nie wejdziesz dalej bo to plik a nie katalog.

Montowanie musi ci po prostu działać. O ile masz system plików taki jak napisałeś wcześniej.
system plikow na bank jest ext3, ten dysk dzialal wczesniej bez problemu z oryginalnym, firmowym softem routera. a w instrukcji bylo by dysk sformatowac i ustawic na system ext3, tak też zrobilem.
kurcze, no nie wiem jak sobie poradzic z tym dyskiem, według Ciebie Cezary, wszystko powinno działać, a jednak nie działa 
dziwne jest to, że przy probie zamontowania dysku z Twoimi parametrami (mount -t ntfs -o rw,sync /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1 /mnt). już nawet specjalnie sformatowałem dysk w innym systemie (NTFS). niestety wynikiem tego polecenia jest komunikat "no such device". brak mi pomysłow. polecenie mount jakby nie widzialo dysku, za to w logach dysk jest, i blkid rowniez generuje UUID, więc o co chodzi??
udaje mi się zamont ować ten dysk jedynie prostym poleceniem "mount /dev/scsi... /mnt" ale nic dalej nie moge z nim zrobic, dysk nie montuje sie ponownie po restarcie...
To ntfs musisz mieć ntfs-3g i montujesz w ntfs-3g /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1 /mnt. Ntfs nie obsługuje opcji "sync"

poza tym, jesli sie nie myle, to i tak nie moge tego wykonac, chyba wczesniej probowalem instalowac openwrt z kernelem 2.6, i firmware wieszał się na najprostszych poleceniach. dopiero soft 2.4 zaczal dzialac stabilnie
Jakie za wysokie? brcm-2.4 zainstalowałeś, a brcm47xx nie potrafisz?
tak jak pisalem wczesniej, na wersji brcm47xx router wieszał się niemiłosiernie na najprostszych poleceniach. nawet zmiana macadresu była wyzwaniem, nie wspomnę o innych operacjach.
Witam ponownie.
na jakiś czas dałem sobie spokój z OpenWRT, wracając do oryginalnego softu (głównie chodziło o brak czasu na konfiguracje).
Teraz niestety potrzeba zmusiła mnie do powrotu...
No i powraca również problem dysków.
Mam dysk USB 750GB, który jeszcze pod windą podzieliłem na dwie równe partycje (wydaje mi się, że mój routerek nie potrafi obsłużyć jednej, tak dużej partycji...)
po instalacji openwrt zainstalowałem wszystko co konieczne do obslugi USB oraz NTFS.
dysk jest widoczny w systemie, zamontowałem go w /mnt/dysk1 (tzn nie cały, a jedną z dwóch partycji)
ściągnąłem sambę, udostępniłem powyższą lokalizację dla gościa, bez autoryzacji hasłem.
po tych operacjach w otoczeniu sieciowym pojawił mi się mój routerek, a na nim dostępny udostępniony katalog "laptop" 
mordka już mi się zacieszyła, bo właśnie tak nazwałem udostępniony zasób. Niestety, nie może być zbyt pięknie.
Na tą partycję nie mogę NIC skopiować. Total Commander pokazuje komunikat "Dysk pełny!", a po zmapowaniu udziału jako dysk sieciowy, w "moim komputerze" widzę, że dysk ma 1,68MB (tak! megabajta!) pojemności, a dostępnej przestrzeni 0! gdzie te pozostałe grubo ponad 350GB??

Przyczyna leżała gdzie indziej.
W GUI widziałem, że są dwie partycje o pojemności 1,69MB, jedna "root" a druga nazwana jakoś inaczej (nie pamiętam jak), a co za tym idzie samba, nie wiedzieć czemu wskazywała mi właśnie na jedną z nich.
Okazało się, że nie właściwie zamontowałem dysk.
Swoją drogą, chcę przebudować nieco układ partycji na dysku. Teraz są 2 po około 350GB, w NTFSie, ale chciałbym wyodrębnić nieco przestrzeni pod extroota i swapa. Rozumiem, że bez problemu mogę tylko te dwie partycje "specjalnego przeznaczenia" ustawić w EXT3, a pozostałe udostępnione w sieci pozostawić na NTFS?
Aby odłączyć dysk w celu podpięcia go bezpośrednio do kompa i zmiany układu partycji muszę go najpierw odmontować z routera? Wcześniej wyłączając transmission??
Z całą pewnością te pytania są śmieszne, jednak nie dla kogoś, kto z linuksem ma niewiele współnego - dopiero uczę się tego systemu, tymbardziej konsoli.
Tylko że ten ntfs bedzie Ci nie potrzebnie obciążał system. Więc skoro i tak robisz extroota na nim to zrób partycje linuksowe, ext4.
Żeby nie zakładać nowego podepnę się tu. Nie miałem wcześniej kontaktu z linuksem.
Mam na gargoyle zrobiony swap i exroot z poziomu GUI na pendrive do tego mam podłączony dysk 500gb ntfs.
Służyć ma za dysk sieciowy i na nim uruchomiony jest tranmission. Udostępniłem go sobie z zakładki "nośniki USB" (samba? a transmission działa.
Problem pojawia sie z restartem routera tzn. czasem mam nadal udostępniony dysk a czasem jakąś przestrzeń 61mb (ram routera?) i muszę udostępniać ten dysk od nowa. Chciałby też mieć pewność, że tranmission sam wznowi działanie po restarcie.

Źle. Nie dopisujesz tego, bo gargoyle sam montuje dyski (u ciebie: w /tmp/usb_mount/A064E4DD64E4B766) i te wpisy nie mają zastosowania, przynajmniej dopóki używasz gargoyle i jego gui do tego a nie fstaba. Z tym się zapoznaj:

Dzięki za odpowiedź. Wybrałem gargoyle ze względu na GUI więc nie chcę z niego rezygnować 
Dodałem w /etc/rc.local
(sleep 20; /etc/init.d/transmission start) &i w zakładce "usługi" włączyłem autostart transmission.
Czy to wystarczy? Może opóźnić też sambę?
Edit: dalej po restarcie w otoczeniu sieciowym nie mam dysku tylko coś o pojemności 61mb i teraz ma folder transmission... o co chodzi?
No nie wystarczy bo nie wiem czy w tych 20s zdąży się dysk zamontować czy nie.
Mogę dać dużo większe opóźnienie tylko, że czasem jest od razu mój dysk a czasem montuje się coś innego ... (wspomniana przestrzeń 61mb)
Samba uruchamia się, wskazując /tmp/usb_mount/A064E4DD64E4B766 jako źródło danych. Jest pamięć ram, więc masz te 60parę mega. Jak zostanie tam zamontowany dysk to masz jego pojemność.
W sumie to ciekawa sprawa, bo o ile nie podłączasz dysku "na gorąco" to dyski są montowane przed uruchomieniem samby i innych procesów. Więc wynikało by z tego że wymaga więcej czasu na montowanie niż system przewiduje.
Jeśli odmontuję dysk i podłączę go znów, to nie chce się zamontować.... no chyba, że za krótko czekam. Trwałoby to 10 minut?
Raczej sekundy. A powód braku zamontowania (bo te 61MB własnie z tego wynika, że dysk się nie zamontował)? W logach coś masz? Ręcznie można go zamontować?
